Caribbean Goodness

The roti was truly fresh and delicious I must say that I even mentioned it to my son. The curry goat was not fresh I bought it as a meal for the next day and I’ve never had this problem and I’ve purchased food here before but I can tell being 70 years old that the food was old after I got home The food was irate when I heated the food it was not tasty there was a lot of bones in the goat meat and it actually made me sick to my stomach nauseated and it came back out so I mean ? ! I do believe in giving giving a person a second chance they were out of everything actually by the time I got there so I don’t know maybe I shouldn’t of ordered that day. Lol

The store was dark, the young man wasn't pleasant, and I was disappointed with the pasta and meat was tough

THE BEST. I stop here or have someone pick ne up food 2-5 month. Food sooo damn good I travel 40 min from Virginia to get it. Flavors authentic, Portions sizes are huge, staff is amazing. J**** curry, cakes, mi ah nah kare, de food be unmatched!

My first time eating here I got the oxtail rasta pasta and it has to be the BEST pasta I’ve ever had. The portion was big and I was struggling to keep eating because of that but the sauce was sooo good like almost addictive. If y’all sold it in bottles I would 100% buy it. Also, I edited to add a picture I found of my food.

Ordered through Door Dash on 5/18/2022 after reading previous reviews on Door Dash. One mentioned how good the food was so I’m sold after that until my food arrived. Once I started tasting it I noticed the J*** Chicken plate was extremely salty. To a point where I could not eat it being concerned about my high blood pressure. I’m sure who the worker was knew that chicken was non edible but yet sold it anyway. People we need to do better especially with food that I paid 24 dollars and change for. After this I would not order again because you would have a stroke.

Ordered j*** chicken a week ago and it was delicious. Couldn’t wait to order again!Ordered today, the flavor was great but the chicken was old, couldn’t eat it…Tried again same OLD Chicken see pic

Ordered the veggie platter. The cabbage was okay, sort of bland. The Mac is the ONLY reason I gave this review 3 stars. Rice and peas had no peas and was hard and dry. They didn’t have roti bread, no curry vegetables. I saw the cook and clutched my pearls….they’re not even Caribbean. Not authentic at all

The food here is pretty good but the prices are marked out. They say one thing online and when you ask it's something totally different. If you ask a question the light skinned cashier acts as if she has an attitude and they are on the phone as if you are not there. Love the pasta but will be making my own. Can't support everyone

My daughter had been craving Caribbean Goodness for awhile so we stopped by while she was in town. With it being my first time going there I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of food you get. Had enough left over to eat for lunch the next day. The salmon and shrimp rasta pasta was so good, I'll definitely be back!

I order Caribbean Goodness often. I have had the Rasta Pasta, Ox tails, Roti, J*** Salmon and the BEST Mac & Cheese I have ever had. I will definitely support this small business anytime I desire Caribbean food. Thank you for the gracious portions as well.

Chicken drier than granny cheeks. From a fat friend to a fat friend, or not. Just keeping going. Cabbage was decent, as if it been marinating it's own juice for a couple days. But dat chicken tho, dog water

My experience hear wasn't so pleasant I ordered a salmon rasta pasta never ordered from here before but had this pasta plenty of times from other places....My pasta was horrible no seasoning no flavor very bland for $25 this food should've been on point wait time was very long also

I ordered a large oxtail platter with cabbage, rice&peas, Mac n cheese, and a curry shrimp platter with the same sides and cocoa bread. The oxtails were not tender, very small in size, and didn’t receive many for it to be a large. The cabbage was bland and the rice was dry & still had a crunch to it. The curry shrimp was overly salty and couldn’t be eaten. I’m very disappointed in the quality & quantity of these platters given the price of $57 that was paid. Definitely won’t return!

I love supporting local businesses , This will def be on my list of places to go to for lunch. My coworkers were eyeing my food asking me where I got it from , who knew there was amazing food at the end of St. Barnabas Road?!I ordered the Salmon rasta pasta . SO MUCH FOOD and SO FLAVORFUL! It was def worth the wait but next time I'll call in because good food does take time to make!
