4.5 stars. I had the chance to visit while at a team event at Robin Hill Farm & Vineyards. Despite the reports that this business is closed, it clearly is not. As this was an all day event, I started with a side of fries before the wine tasting. The fries were fresh, hot and crispy, but could have benefited from some salt and pepper if available. They were also $10, but other dishes were not ready yet, so not much choice. Later in the day, I got a smoked brisket combo with mac & cheese, and BBQ baked beans. It was a sunny summer day, so the outside temperature was in the low 90s...so inside the trailer (not a traditional food truck as in DC/VA as trailers are permitted in MD), the temperature had to be well over 100. Definitely feel for the staff, but they served orders with a smile. The combo itself was good - with promise of greatness - but not quite there. First, the mac & cheese - cheesy with soft macaroni pasta as you should expect . It had the right consistency and flavor balance without too much salt of cheese flavor. Second, the beans - a medley of beans, peppers, onions and homemade BBQ sauce...sweet, mildly spicy with a vinegar base. Finally, the brisket - cooked to perfection, but lacking any flavor from the dry rub. Paired with the homemade BBQ sauce, it was damn good...but just okay without. The disappointing aspect being that the meat was not even warm. With an outside temperature in the 90s, I would have expected something above room temperature...but okay. Anyway, solid...but has room for improvement!

We were having a girls night and decided to grab a quick food truck dinner. I am eating the leftovers, and I have to say that this brisket is smoked to absolute perfection. It’s the perfect amount of smoke. It’s not overwhelming and it’s not too light. And the meat is sooo tender!! I could live on the mac & cheese, and the beans are a perfect complement to this perfect meat! We will be seeing you again soon! Thank you!

Not sure why this page says closed, perhaps this business was closed at some point, but they're very much open now! Given the pandemic, one can certainly understand. Had this delicious BBQ today while visiting the Robin Hill Winery in Brandywine. My friend and I really enjoyed our meals from here. I got the chicken (soooo good) with two sides: mac n cheese (amazing) and string beans (was ok). My friend had the brisket with mac n cheese and baked beans! He loved it! Customer service was great. Very friendly and engaging employees. I'm not sure if this business has a brick and motar but I'm following their IG page so I can know where they'll be next because I want more!!!

Smoke Stack’s pulled pork is as good as it gets . Succulent, juicy, full of flavor, and just the right amount of smoke. The baked beans and macaroni and cheese were phenomenal. I’ll keep an eye out for their schedule and will eat here again very soon.

They were out of lots of things, no issue there. Our turnout was way bigger than anyone anticipated. I came for the catfish, Mac and string beans.... Luckily they had that. That catfish was one of the best I've ever had! Greens and Mac were also on point. Looking forward to coming earlier next time and getting some ribs.

Very disappointing experience with this food truck. Odered and paid for our food online to be picked up at a set time. Arrived at the set time to pick it up only to be told they were out of one of the things we had ordered. Food was mediocre at best and service was terrible.
Uhmm... everything is fan-friggin-tastic!! I’d even eat their mac and cheese, and I’m not really a fan of egg-based baked macaroni.

I visit this lovely place a lot! This is the best place to pass a nice evening. I visit this place frequently. The cooking is just great, the staff is helpful and the prices are reasonable. I like being in this restaurant to have a decent lunch.

Best BBQ hands down! I'm from the south and every bite reminds me of home. Delicious food is my weakness for spending, yet the prices are on point and the quality speaks for itself. Brisket so tender, my fork was angry. I ordered crab topped salmon for Thanksgiving and now it's a tradition. EVERYTHING FROM SCRATCH & Truly talented. I'm heading to IG now to find the next pop-up.

My apt complex has been having food trucks come to our apt for the past few weeks and this was one of them. My husband loves bbq, so we had to order. I got the catfish with baked beans and the green beans. My husband had a rib dinner with baked beans and mac 'n cheese. As soon as I got the food into the apt and opened the box, the apt was immediately filled with the most delicious smell!! Everything was wonderful. Catfish seasoned and fried to perfection. And the baked beans were AMAZING! I usually don't eat baked beans because I find most to be too sweet (I know, I know, that's the point of them, right lol). But these were amazing. They had a good amount of sweetness, but also a bit of vinegar to cut through. Loved them! My husband enjoyed his ribs and the mac. I don't eat dairy (I know), but I sampled the mac and the smoke flavor was divine! They were perfectly cheesy for me. My husband said he wished they were cheesier, but still enjoyed them. Oh! And my husband ordered a pulled pork sandwich, which he ate the following day. Again, it smelled delicious and he said it was one of the best pulled pork sandwiches he'd ever had out here. I sampled a bit and I can concur. Delicious! Definitely hope they come back to VA for a visit! Would love to order again!
