Dropped in while passing through for an early dinner. Simple decor. Suitable service. Some items in our meals were lovely but a few things underdone. Surprised the beat salad was assembled with very few things cut up (a single big beat and big chunk of cheese). Overall enjoyable.

I’ve been to this restaurant for dinner and drinks three times!
While the food is decent, the kitchen is plagued by equipment failures.
The second time we went, the floor drains backed up into the restaurant. This wouldn’t have been a big deal, but rather than handling it quietly, the owner saw fit to start bashing another nearby restaurant saying,
“Well if we were at _____ , the power would probably be going out every other week!”
It struck me as strange, and left a bad taste in my mouth as a customer. I don’t think it’s a good look for then chef to be bad-mouthing other businesses, and as a result I won’t be patronizing this bistro again.

Best cream of crab soup I have ever had. And, I get it at every restaurant I go to. I will dream about it until returning again. Both breakfast and dinner options I have had here were excellent. I pick this place any time we are in Sykesville and choose to go out.

Really enjoy the food here. The cinnamon french toast is perfection. The Prime Rib hash for brunch is amazing! The owner Keith Watson what a 🧑🍳 chef. He really puts his heart into his food and this restaurant. We’re trying the meatloaf and open faced turkey today for lunch. Truly love it here! Wish this place all the success!

Absolutely excellent food! Worth the trip. Highly recommend the Mongolian Beef and the wings. Just stopped in for a quick lunch - would up instantly being one of my favorite spots in Maryland.
It's a small place, so set your expectations on speed and availability - but still worth the wait!

Small but clean and well run. We had the Asian fusion pork belly pasta and honey barbecue salmon. Both dishes were delicious but the sauce on the pasta overwhelmed the salmon. We went on a Saturday night in December with no reservations and were seated immediately. Service was excellent and prices were reasonable.

We got Thanksgiving dinner from the Bistro the last couple of years. The food is exceptional. The portions were very generous.
The people were amazing too. They were very kind enough to modify the order size a couple of days before Thanksgiving.

If you are driving by Sykesville i highly recommend a visit here. I went here with my family for Brunch service. The service was great, drinks were great, and most importantly the food was great. I ate the Pancakes and French Toast and they were both awesome. The chef stopped by our table to ensure the food came out as we ordered. Great experience all around.
