Ice cream was to die for, and the other farm fresh items and local items are delicious as well!
Really great ice cream! Free toppings. Creative flavors and you can get cookies, pies, fudge, steaks, condiments, breads, it's awesome. Will be back.
Terrible service, uncleaniness by not washing their hands etc.🤢🤮🤮
My kids like this place, but I really don't like the ice cream. Every time we have gone, there are always little pieces of ice in my ice cream, and hubby says same for his. I do enjoy getting milkshakes from here because then there is no surprise ice in it. The flavor is great, just don't care for ice chips in ice cream.
There are many products to take home such as milk, pastries, jams, cookies, apparel.
Very busy on a hot 4th of July weekend, as you might expect. Friendly staff and GREAT ice cream in a quaint location in old town Sykesville.
Great ice-cream but normally a wait. It is worth the wait.
Nice place
Lovely. The staff was delightful and helpful. The black Raspberry ice cream in a wafflecone is heavenly. They have a small patio for outdoor seating where you can bring your dog.
Best local ice cream! Cool location great for families.
Great place, friendly service. Love the Snallygaster.

Excellent ice cream but it will hurt the wallet. It was over $5 for one small scoop of ice cream! :'( These exorbitant prices remind me that I really can't afford to hang out in the downtown Sykesville area.
Carry a lot of Carroll County made items. To include Wagners Meats!! Keep supporting local!

People stay away from this ice cream shop, what a rip off $ 4.76 for the smallest custard ice cream of my life. Go to: The Cow on Westminster or Happy cow creamery (mt airy area) they both serve a good amount of ice cream.. and they are not asking for tips.

Before ordering some ice cream I asked the young man at counter how much the lady in front of me just got. He responded 1-scoop, so I ordered 2-scoops of ice cream. He put my 2-scoops in the same clear cup the 1-scoop person had. To measure his scoops, he adds a few small scoops from a small scooper (not a regular size ice cream scooper). Therefore his scoops aren’t consistent. The ice cream on bottom of my cup was a total of 5-plastic spoons. Some employe training is needed here.
The ice cream was delicious.
