They sell South Mountain ice cream. It's some of the best ice cream I have ever had. The Snallygaster is the best! My wife says Cookie Butter was the best.

Firehouse Creamery is our favorite! They serve local South Mountain Creamery ice cream and other local products. The servers are always friendly and helpful and the ice cream never disappoints. We are big hikers and we always race to Firehouse after a long hike to enjoy our personal favorite flavor: Cookie Butter. Highly recommended.

Firehouse Creamery in Downtown Sykesville is an absolute gem! Located in the heart of a scenic and lively area, it’s surrounded by charming local shops and a bustling farmers market that makes the whole spot feel vibrant and happening. The atmosphere is so welcoming—you instantly feel like you’re part of a thriving community.

The ice cream here is truly authentic and full of rich, creamy flavor. Each scoop tastes fresh and made with real, high-quality milk, offering a delightful variety of flavors that are both classic and unique. It’s the kind of local treat you can’t find just anywhere, and you can really taste the care and craftsmanship in every bite.

I loved that there’s both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can relax inside or enjoy your ice cream while soaking in the scenic views and lively street vibe. Whether you’re people-watching, catching up with friends, or just taking a quiet moment to enjoy the day, it’s the perfect spot.

If you’re in or around Sykesville, Firehouse Creamery is a must-visit. It’s the kind of place that captures the essence of a true small-town gem—authentic, delicious, and full of life. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a sweet escape.

Amazing ice cream and variety of flavors. Their apple pie flavor is exactly what I’ve been looking for!

Great stop as you're strolling the Main street, especially with kids. There is some indoor and outdoor seating, good flavor selection, clean restroom, other local dairy products like butter etc for sale.

Really great ice cream! Free toppings. Creative flavors and you can get cookies, pies, fudge, steaks, condiments, breads, it's awesome. Will be back.

Terrible service, uncleaniness by not washing their hands etc.🤢🤮🤮

My kids like this place, but I really don't like the ice cream. Every time we have gone, there are always little pieces of ice in my ice cream, and hubby says same for his. I do enjoy getting milkshakes from here because then there is no surprise ice in it. The flavor is great, just don't care for ice chips in ice cream.

There are many products to take home such as milk, pastries, jams, cookies, apparel.

Very busy on a hot 4th of July weekend, as you might expect. Friendly staff and GREAT ice cream in a quaint location in old town Sykesville.

Great ice-cream but normally a wait. It is worth the wait.
