Cute little shop, we ordered the seasonal crepes which were great. The staff was friendly and answered all your questions. The atmosphere was cute and the merchandise adds a chuckle for some of the sayings. Would definitely come back.

French Twist is my go-to breakfast/brunch spot in Sykesburg! The food is always amazing and staff are friendly and efficient. Even at peak hours, they are relatively fast with getting orders out, typically within 5-10 minutes. Most of the seating is upstairs or outside, but it can fill up quickly if it's super busy. They also have a to-go option, and there's a nice little park/grove right acrosd the street, so sometimes we'll eat there if it's full inside.

Listen, I love this place. It’s got great memories for me, and has fantastic food. Normally. But the last few times I’ve gone, they’ve been really understaffed. I waited 45 minutes for four crepes. It wasn’t even that busy. When we got the crepes, they were all room temperature or cold. I was pretty bummed since they’re on the higher side of the price range. And I wasn’t the only one. People in neighboring tables were questioning the times as well. I’ll come back a couple more times since I love this place, but if nothing changes, I think it’ll be time to look for a new brunch place :(

Always stop here whenever we’re in the Sykesville area. Great crepes, great espresso drinks, and a lovely space.

Fantastic freshly-made crepes, galettes, & coffee. Helpful staff & a leisurely environment. Only issue is that there's no elevator; there is a ramp to the front entrance, & handicap marked seating in that floor, though. Worth a stop or a lunch!

On a Sunday, the wait time for 4 lattes was 26 minutes and there were only two people ahead of us in line. By the time we left there were 16 people inside waiting to place an order. Their wait had to be approaching an hour. The inside is so cramped you are literally standing elbow to elbow with everyone else. The drinks were only average so I would avoid this location, at least on weekends. Maybe weekdays are more manageable by the staff.

The cafe is cute from the outside, but I was completely put off by the tasteless selection of gifts with stupid f word slogans and such on them. This is totally incongruous with the vibe you'd expect in a quaint little town coffee shop. I'm not offended, it was just surprising and IMO, a poor choice of decor/inventory. Comes off as low class.
The food was just ok. The prices are kinda high. The service wasn't great. Definitely would not go back.
