My buddy and I had a nice stop in this bar after a day of skiing. We got the spicy burger, which was one of the specials (fresh jalapenos/pepper jack cheese etc). Staff was nice and friendly and the food came out quickly. This bar is attached to the assisted living and skilled nursing center above, and was described to us as a way for the residents to see people outside their circles and go out to a bar without the hassle of going out, which I thought was very nice.Prices were great, I think the burger with fries was $10 with a $5 draft beer to boot. If I'm ever in taneytown I'll definitely return for another visit to explore their menu further.

The cream of crab soup was very good. It has the perfect amount of sherry blended. The crab cake was also good ( no shells, jumbo lump&lump). All around good value for the price and quality. Attentive/helpful waitstaff! We will visit again when in the area.

My group went for a private birthday party, but we arrived 90 min early to catch the Ravens game.Every employee seemed like they were in a good mood-- warm, welcoming! They let us sit in the private room of our party, that early, so we wouldn't have to move once we were sat.The food was good and prices were fair. The cream of crab soup was incredible and had substantial amounts of crab meat in each serving (our table ended up ordering three... Before the party!)The cheesesteak and apple/walnut salad were great and the Ruben was good. The onion rings tasted beer battered and had potential, but were a little grease logged and not crispy (like the frying oil wasn't quite hot enough.) Asking the onions ring to be made extra crispy would make them perfect, especially with the horseradish dipping sauce that came with them, because it was delicious. Our server was the best part of the trip! She was funny, attentive, personable and so much fun!!Overall, I definitely recommend casual dinner & a drink at Flicks Pub!
