Stone House Cakery and Cafe

We ordered our wedding cake (small sweetheart cake and sheet cake) from Stone House. We went with almond cake with raspberry filling, and it was delicious!

To try flavors, you have to go in and buy whichever cupcakes they have available. They do not offer tastings of cake, fillings, and frosting separately, but they always have a ton of flavors available in the case. And EVERYTHING tastes amazing.

Lois and her team were wonderful to work with for our wedding! They offer a wide-variety of cake and cupcake flavors and all are delicious. We went with a sweetheart cake for our wedding cake and 4 flavors of cupcakes for the guests and the guests were all saying how delicious they were and the proof is in the results…there were hardly any left at the end of the night!

I was the first person in the store when it opened placed my order the coffee is terrible. First, it was better now it’s cold. The person behind me got her order before I did. This is one of my favorite bakery is terrible service. I’m sorry.

I ordered a dessert tray for 15 people for an in-service at work. The staff at the bakery was super friendly and capable. The young lady who took my order was very knowledgeable in determining my needs and offering what they could provide. I ordered the afternoon before and came in mid-morning the next day. The tray was ready and adorably wrapped in ribbons representing our company colors. The desserts were varied, everything was tasty, and all was at an amazing value. Highly recommend Stone House. A true pleasure to work with.

The cutest place I have ever seen. I just ate the cinnamon roll and I’m thinking about walking back and getting another. The service was great and everything smelled delicious. I would visit Taneytown again just to come here.

We used Stone House Cakery for our wedding cake and it was perfect. We had our wedding at Antrim 1844 right up the street from the bakery and Stone House was one of the recommended vendors. We actually walked down from the venue, tried some cupcakes and decided right then and there to go with Stone House as our vendor. They were delightful and responsive. They made us feel very comfortable and they delivered the cake exactly as promised. It was delicious... if only we had practiced shared cake cutting!

I got my baby shower cake done here and it was amazing. It tasted awesome the design was perfect, just how I explained it and wanted. The size of the cake was even better, I had cake for days even after the event! It was an absolutely amazing experience and for a great price too. I will definitely be getting cakes here for my future celebrations.
