The food and drinks are OUTSTANDING! The service is what keeps me from coming back more often. I really love the atmosphere and ambiance of the bar. The playlist is awesome! The staff is not as attentive as the chef who is obviously the most passionate person in the building. Please step it up, don't take so long to greet customers and check on them when it's time to order. Ensure you bring back whatever you said you were bringing back, silverware, more water, take home box, check etc. Love to support black owned businesses, but I would like better service in return.

Always a bad experience when i come here, but i keep putting myself through that. Service is slow, always have to wait almost an hour for food whether dinning in or take out. Manager has a “don’t care” attitude that’s mind boggling. My dad visited from the islands and took him here. One other family sitting eating and we’re being told to wait? Waited 15m to be seated! Waiting another 45m for our meal, waitress kept lying to us saying the food would be out in 5m. Eventually we got fed up and got up to walk out, as we’re walking out they walk out with the food. I’m not one to act up in public so simply paid for it and took it home. So much changes needed, but when management doesn’t care about certain things then it wouldn’t change.

Let me tell you. The atmosphere is great ?. Food is off chain delicious. I’m going to have to get a part time at restaurant due to spending all my money. The food is worth all money you spend. This was my first time here. My cousin recommended we come here after Good Friday church service. The service was quick and friendly. The food was fresh and amazing. I had the catfish special with a side of hush puppies and the fresh corn. The corn is fresh off the cob sauté with green, red peppers and butter. Oh and I almost forgot about the side of Mac n cheese. Flavorful. I I WILL BE BACK!!!!
Food good but prepare to wait!UpdateIt’s worth the wait the stuffed avocado is bomb!! The manager is polite and she makes sure you’re taken care of. Love the new machines. I need to come chill at the bar one day. Yall keep up the great work!!!

Nice Restaurant close to home. Great parking and the food is delicious. Had a cocktail at the bar on a Wednesday night while waiting for my birthday party to arrive for my girl friend. Server was knowledgeable and food was delicious and came out hot. We had a party of 8; bar service was good. Our orders could have been taken faster; but overall very satisfying for a party of our size and got reservation the same day! This is my second time patronizing this restaurant. They now have music and Karokee. Intimate setting, ample parking and food and drinks are great.
