I used to buy chicken and vegetable mix here but yesterday after taking the take out food and tried to eat it. The vegetables has steel brush on it,good I wasn't able to swallow it. And good it my kids didnt ate any vegetables. And the chicken wasnt fully cook the inside was still raw....Not gonna buy from this place anymore..

I walked in and was unwelcomely greeted once I said hello. I asked for a menu and both ladies looked through me then back at each other with a disgusted look. Guess not used to a gringo walking in the door…. I seen where this was going so I just left. Next time I’ll bring my Hispanic friends and then maybe I can get treated like a customer.

The food is amazing.I only had the chicken with the rice.But everything in here is good.I heard I have a mexican friend and he loves their food and I love it too.So if you're mexican spanish, you know whatever you are, it doesn't matter, go try their food.It is good and they have fresh tea, fresh drinks that they made on their own.Their food is really good.Five stars.Now the menu is in spanish, but they will help you to get what you want

I have always gone to Marcela's for their Peruvian Chicken, when I am not in the mood to cook dinner. Their Peruvian Chicken is 10/10!!!! However, today, I was in the mood for breakfast, happened to be in the area, and decided to order to Breakfast Special, which came with 2 pieces of steak, 2 fried eggs, rice and beans, refried beans, avocado, plantains, and la crema, and tortillas for $20! All I am going to say is if you are ever in temple hills, by the bowling alley, please stop by Marcela's, you will not be disappointed! Fyi, do not mind my picture, lol. As soon as I ordered my food for Togo, it smelled so good, I had to take a couple of bites in the car! However, the portions were very generous!

After a bit of a hiatus, I recently made my way back—and I’m happy to report that the quality hasn’t skipped a beat. The pride in the food is still front and center, and every dish feels like it’s made with intention. No matter what you order, you’re in good hands.
