Traveling through Thurmont we spotted Bollingers Restaurant, we decided to go in and see what was on the menu. We were very happy with our decision as the food was wonderful. Crab cakes were very good !

This was a nice place, clean, and great staff. There was a nice selection of food and we chose the BBQ plate. It was a brewery also but we didn't drink.

We were visiting from out of town. Ms Donna was so sweet and made us feel right at home after a long day of moving our daughter into her college dorm. We will be back soon!

The BBQ was the star of the show and exactly why we visited. It's a little cramped inside and the beers were generally ok. Go get yourself some of that brisket.

It's not a house. It's a restaurant. Totally unassuming hidden gem. I feel like a jerk for not going here sooner. We FINALLY made it here about 7 weeks ago. I've been back three times since with friends and family from out of town.

Everything I've tried has been great, but of all things, the pit ham stands out more than anything else. Let's get this straight - I don't dislike ham but I am normally just indifferent to ham. Bollingers ham is different. Super smokey, sliced thin and served with Carolina mustard BBQ sauce. It changed the way I feel about ham.

They also brew their own beer and have giant sodas and must have the syrup level on their soda machine masterfully calibrated.

Go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and you're likely to find something for everyone in your party. Definitely try the beer flight if you're unsure which of Uncle Dirty's selections to try. The man is a hop savant.

My wife and I eat at Bollinger’s almost every Friday night, and it never disappoints! The BBQ is always top-notch—smoky, tender, and full of flavor—and their selection of craft beer is just as impressive. It’s become our go-to spot for winding down the week.

What really sets Bollinger’s apart, though, is the people. Every member of the staff is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant to be around. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, they make you feel like part of the family.

If you’re looking for great food, great drinks, and great people—this is the place. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately I cannot give this place a good review because of my most recent experience with carry out which I USED TO DO OFTEN as I live literally across the street. When I first decided to eat at Bollingers I was extremely happy with the food the service and the entirety of the experience and the few I had after that. Mind you when I first went to Bollingers it was over a year ago. Sadly the food and service and overall quality of the place has gone down significantly in my personal opinion. Recently one afternoon me and my boyfriend decided to get lunch from Bollingers so he told me what he wanted and I called the restaurant and ordered our food for carry out, they told us 20 min I believe and we walked over there and went to the carry out counter and still had to wait another 15-20 min or so for our food. Once we left the house got home and started eating…. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries…. I finished most my sandwich and fries and go to reach for another French fry and see that there is a fly cooked into it he very fry I picked up, it made me so disgusted that I threw up and couldn’t stop. I then decided to take my food back over to get my money back and when I told them about it the manager simply says basically nothing…. I had to ask and demand for my money back and I shouldn’t have had any of these negative experiences, Bollingers is supposed to be a higher end restaurant in Thurmont and it became a huge disappointment, so much so that I don’t even think about going there to eat anymore. Gross.

Really surprised at how excellent the barbecue plate was. Exceeded expectations! I ordered the turkey/brisket/pulled pork plate.
