The Burger King in Thurmont, MD has good food, and the service is great. The employees are friendly. However the lobby is closed way too often, this past Thursday morning they were closed because the air conditioning was down. As a loyal customer, I prefer going inside instead of using the drive thru, I really don't care if the AC is working or not.

I ordered a whopper Junior with cheese no onions, burger came out with onions on, took it back inside, and the guy simply removed the onions gave it back to me, and then half way through I realized there was a piece of lighter colored hair on the bun because he wasn’t wearing a hair net. I ended up needing to use my epi pen (due to onion allergy)

This is the best Burger King that I've ever been to. I love the atmosphere/retro theme. My mom is 64 we were in aweeee at the place like kids. The service is friendly, fast, and efficient.

Customer service was incredible, and the atmosphere was amazing. Couldn’t believe this Burger King had the retro theme still. Absolutely loved it. Such an iconic atmosphere.

Extremely hit or miss, I have to check my food almost every time because they usually don't get the customizations right, it might be because their receipt printer thingys are broken and have white lines through the majority of the receipts, (which is annoying, why has the franchise manager not fixed it yet this has been going on for months on end) ( if the ticket they tape to your bag is the same one the kitchen uses then I'm not surprised they can't read them)
However there is one girl who works the drive through sometimes. no idea what her name (K something? Ka maybe?) is but the tall slender one with the brown hair and slightly deeper voice. She's great, enough that it's worth the gamble to order and see if I paid nearly $1.50 for bacon and cheese which may or may not actually be on my burger depending on who they have working that day. Give her an award.
Also they have a vintage dining room with a 50s theme which is very cool and unique. Much better than the empty sterile interiors of other burger kings.
