The venue, the scenery, and the location are great. This review is about the staff, specifically the "managers." They are the rudest people to ever work with. Attitudes for no reason since the arrival, speaking in a condescending manner, and barking orders, then walking away before getting a response in is not the way to do it. Also, saying "what's your problem" is not the way to approach someone for the first time. Don't have the audacity to get upset with someone when they respond in a likely manner.

I have visited Springfield Manor multiple times, all of which have been enjoyable. On my visit this past Saturday, I was really disappointed with the staff. My dad and I were walking outside, our hands full of drinks for our party. There were about 5-6 staff members chatting with each other and not offering to help open a door for us. I asked them to help us. Someone came over to help, but didn't quite do it right away and my dad managed to awkwardly get the door open himself because the staff member was just standing there. As we were exiting, I heard that staff member laughing at us. I was floored. Other staff interactions that day was fine, but that was so abysmal, I could barely believe it happened. It was so disappointing.

This winery have the worst customer service, specially the manager she was very unprofessional and made us feel very unwelcome specially if you come with children, a lot of other wineries close by and all are better than this one , other parents were there with children and we were the only ones been asked for our son to seat still in the chair ( we were outdoors) he was only stand dancing with the music, no wondering around , when we pointed that out manager went to other parents and asked them if they’re were asked to leave just to make her point , very rude and unprofessional made clear that they don’t need our business, when asked her for her name she kept walking and made a very rude gesture.

We got married on October 10th 2024. From the moment we toured this venue the year prior we knew this would be it. The venue speaks for itself but my wife Raven and I really want to give thanks to Brian, Loree and the rest of the team at Springfield Manor. From the communications before the wedding to the wedding day itself they were fantastic.

Brian and the team were always responsive to our questions.
We also noticed how Brian treats his team members cuz it extended to how his team treated us and our guests .

We could tell that they serve with love and respect and it was evident how happy everyone was on our special day.

Boy this wine is bad. We tried a flight of both the white and the red. Everything tastes like a homebrewer made it. Trust me, nothing here is refined by any means. The only redeeming factor are the rest of the things they offer which is the view, snacks, beer. Very disappointing.

Brian and Loree run a BEAUTIFUL wedding venue - truly all we could've asked for. We did a Friday wedding in September 2024 and unfortunately this was the Friday the hurricane was hitting NC, so MD was getting a lot of residual rain. They had the inside and outside ceremony options set up and ready for whatever happened with the weather. They let me wait until 20 mins before ceremony start time to make the decision to be inside or out, and then Brian was literally outside with a leaf blower blowing water off the seats. They are extremely communicative, and the in-house caterer is amazing. People raved about the food at the wedding. Wish I could relive this night!

Love their cocktail flights! A place that has something for everyone

The staff at Springfield or made our wedding day so easy from start to finish. The venue itself is stunning - a no brainer for us. The ceremony site was beautifully landscapes at the foot of the mountain, and the reception hall was so elegant and shines on its own. The grounds were a perfect backdrop for stunning pictures. We felt so cared for and special the whole day thanks to the team there. 100% recommend!

What a beautiful location! I proposed to my wife here among the lavender fields. She was more than happy to say Yes. The smell of lavender drifts up as you enjoy spirits, beer, or wine that was created right here at the same place.

Safety: Very safe, a lot of area for kids to run around.

Food and drinks: The drinks are great! They really put a personal touch on them.

A great place. You drive through one to the winery. Idyllically located. Here you can taste wine, beer and whiskey and sit on the terrace when the weather is beautiful.

We had our wedding here in November, 2023 and it was everything we dreamed of and more! The venue was beautiful and the mountain provided the perfect fall backdrop. We held our ceremony outdoors and because of the time of the year, they were super accommodating to move it up an hour to account for daylight savings time so we had some daylight left for the ceremony and photos. Brian and Loree were amazing! They are very organized, detail-oriented, and calm during the chaos of wedding day. Brian was helping with everything, like making sure the guys’ boutonnières looked perfect, and his attention to detail helped make everything run smoothly. He kept everything on schedule and was very communicative with coordinating with all the vendors. We booked the ballroom and it was elegant, simple and lovely. You have to use their exclusive caterer, but they were also amazing. The food and service were top-notch. We served the venue’s lavender gin (they grow the lavender on site) and it was delicious. We also stayed at the historic inn for the wedding night and several of our close friends stayed there for the weekend. We received so many compliments on the inn keepers, the lovely venue and the excellent service. Springfield Manor was also much more reasonably priced than other venues we researched, so it was an excellent value. This is a beautiful, amazing wedding venue!
