I would give 5 stars if it was just based on the sandwiches alone. But unfortunately every time I come, you can be the only one in here and it takes 20 min to get your sandwich or your sandwich is wrong. If you have a lot of time to spare I do recommend coming here.

Carryout only sandwiches were made to order and excellent. Lots of distracting baked goods and refrigerated foods to purse while you wait. Just be prepared that seating is only available outside with no shade.

The staff are rude and have no idea how to speak to customers. The pen & paper method of ordering is ridiculous, considering we just wanted one of the sandwich specials with no changes or additions. The food is good though!

The food is great, but the customer service behind the deli counter always has a bad attitude like they shouldn’t be bothered by you asking them to make you something and you pay money for it. The last two times I’ve been there I’ve gotten nothing but attitude. Each time, different people. Defiantly have lost my business permanently.

My wife and I enjoy the different breads & pies they sell.

Visited there on Friday October 25 2024 after reading the good reviews on our way to the Ft Ritchie haunted house. Upon walking in to order my daughter asked for the restroom she was met with a very snarky rude reply from the girl behind the deli counter stating " No! There are no public restrooms. I ordered a ham and turkey" hoagie " and I use that term lightly and my daughter ordered a roast beef panini After a 25 min wait this is where the disappointment begins. My hoagie for 9 dollars was a joke it was on a Maiers or Martins small soft sub roll , orange cheap american cheese, no turkey and I couldn't even taste the condiments that I ordered. Reminded me of a school lunch sandwich. My daughters sandwich was a totally different one then what she ordered so another 15 min wait to make a new one. Went to the candy / ice cream shop side and ordered a small chocolate malt milkshake a YooHoo would been better thin and no malt taste at all that they charge extra for. We bought some baked goods since they looked good but that's were it stopped. It was my birthday so I got my favorite a vanilla cupcake with buttercream icing. It reminded me of a cheap wedding cake, dry cake and gritty icing, also the sugar cookies were flavor less. My 40 plus years in Food Bev industry plus my daughters 10 yrs experience we know a thing or two. I really wanted to like this place but the food, service and prices are definitely a one star.

What restaurant with a scintilla of caring about customers will not accept carry-out orders over the phone? Crazy huh! After dialing and being disconnected, not answered, answered then disconnected, someone finally answered on the fourth try. Tried to place a pick-up order only to be informed that they DO NOT accept called in orders, you must go to their web site and place the order. My wife did that. When we stopped to pick up the sandwich we were informed that they had NOT received the order. Obviously the Farmhouse does not care about my business! Juliette's, 9 East Church St has a delicious Reuben. You may want to give it a try.
