Our waitress had a very nasty attitude. We watched another waitress stop a lady from going to the bathroom when she saw the lady had money and her bill in her hand. She made her pay before allowing her to go in the bathroom.

First thing I should mention is my mother in law has been wanting me to try this place for a very long time. But I'm a large man and whenever I tried to come it was packed full and the dining area of this place is very small. All of the little table and chairs are kinda smashed in together. I finally got a chance to dine here and I must admit the biggest shock to me was just how extensive their menu was. They have a lot to offer on the menu. Much more than I'm used to from a place I would consider a local diner. I ordered a club sandwich and some fries. It was a rather large sandwich. And the fries were nice and crisp. I liked them a lot. I will say I'm glad I came finally however my large self will maybe just order something to go. Bit too cramped for me.

We enjoyed our meal, but I bought the expensive Maryland cake and it was very dry. However my daughter got the red velvet whoopie pie and loved it , mainly because the filling was true red velvet icing.

Cozy little place with good food at reasonable prices.
Place is both small and popular so expect a wait.

This spot was recommended to us for breakfast. The service and atmosphere lived up to the recommendation but my breakfast left something to be desired. I ordered the biscuits and sausage gravy with home fries. The home fries were OK but a bit too crispy for me but the sausage gravy was not like any I have had with large chunks of meat that did not taste like any sausage I have had before and biscuits that I could not even cut through with my knife. Just not to my taste. My husband said his omelette was good so maybe I just needed to order something different.

Staff was very rude as soon as we stepped foot inside. Got many dirty looks and eye rolls from staff just by standing there waiting for someone to seat us. Was even more rude when we decided to leave immediately after they took our name and party. These reviews say the staff are very sweet but that might only be if you look a certain way… do not recommend going here if you are a POC

Im a tourist and my family went to Coctin Mountain Park. After our hiking we got hungry and decided to go to this restaurant. They give us a breakfast menu and we thought, maybe they do not serve other food during sundays, we waited for an hour for our kid pancake, egg sandwich and a brunch burger. While waiting for an hour people ordered chicken, quesadilla and onion soup abd they got their order 15mins. The worst restaurant I have ever been too. If you're a tourist you can just find another restaurant. Also, my egg sandwich have hair in it.

What a darling place! My husband and I were in the sweet town of Thurmont to pick up a new RV. Decided per the advice of a salesman at Beckleys to “try this place out”…. It was wonderful. Reminded us both of Grandmas cooking back in the day. Sweet waitress. She was really working hard to make sure everyone was happy and well fed. ?. We will definitely come beck. I had the Turkey and dressing. My hubby got the broasted chicken. Both were yummmmmy!!! U
