First thing I should mention is my mother in law has been wanting me to try this place for a very long time. But I'm a large man and whenever I tried to come it was packed full and the dining area of this place is very small. All of the little table and chairs are kinda smashed in together. I finally got a chance to dine here and I must admit the biggest shock to me was just how extensive their menu was. They have a lot to offer on the menu. Much more than I'm used to...
We enjoyed our meal,but I bought the expensive Maryland cake and it was very dry. However my daughter got the red velvet whoopie pie and loved it , mainly because the filling was true red velvet icing.
What a darling place! My husband and I were in the sweet town of Thurmont to pick up a new RV. Decided per the advice of a salesman at Beckleys to “try this place out”…. It was wonderful. Reminded us both of Grandmas cooking back in the day. Sweet waitress. She was really working hard to make sure everyone was happy and well fed. ?. We will definitely come beck. I had the Turkey and dressing. My hubby got the broasted chicken. Both were yummmmmy!!! U
