Friendly atmosphere, good service and food.
Tried the crab cake and was not disappointed. The mashed potato’s were some of the best I’ve had in a while. One of the owners, Pete, greeted us at our table and we got to chatting. Really nice guy and wishing them the best at their new location!
Previous restaurant (Nicks Grill) at the fairgrounds was horrible. The atmosphere has totally changed for the better under Costa’s, very warm and welcoming, friendly staff and bartenders.
Only con is it can be somewhat hard to find where exactly the restaurant is if you’ve never been there before, but don’t let it deter you from trying the place out.

Where are the crabs??
The food was good especially the ample amount of French fries. The only problem was the drinks were extremely weak. Either a short pour or too much tonic, water, etc

My husband and myself frequent Costa's in Dundalk. We love the atmosphere, the delicious food and the people. We had heard quite a bit about the opening of the new Costa's Inn Timonium. We thought we should try it out. It did not disappoint. The restaurant is beautiful. Very layed back. Food was delicious. Trusty crabcake for me and stuffed shrimp for the hubby. Staff was very attentive. It was nice to see faces we recognized. Pete and Christine were both there and made sure to come by our table to say Hi. Our waitress Maddie was the best. I will have to say your Dad is looking down on all of you smiling at what a wonderful job everyone is doing and that his dream is coming true. He knew this location would make it. Keep doing what your doing--Family is the best.

Was surprised to see Costas pick up this location as there second one after the mainstay in Dundalk that plays to rave reviews.
Had lunch with friends and everything was OK - except for the lack of customers on this particular Tuesday. The place was empty.
Service was polite and I had the fried oysters of which the count was good. The oysters were just fine too. My friend both has the Seafood club which is shrimp salad and crabcake. While good, it did not quite live up to the same sandwich in some of the other seafood restaurants. We would certainly return.
Hopefully they may a go of it at this location.

We are long time customers of the original Costas Inn . We decided to try the new Timonium location yesterday. I’m happy to say that walking through those doors gave us the same welcome feeling that we always feel.
Our server Maddie, was on point. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Of course the food was delicious. The crab cake was perfect and the stuffed shrimp was wonderful.
Pete and Christine took the time to interact with many of the patrons.
I highly recommend that you give Costas Timonium a try

Disappointing — Not What I Expected from a Costas Spot
I grew up near the original Costas on North Point Road, so I had high hopes coming in—but this was a letdown. The pit beef sandwich had soggy bread, the chicken sandwich roll was no better, and the fries were limp. The food was average at best, and the whole place had a strange betting vibe that didn’t feel welcoming. Staff was friendly, but service was slow. Really wanted to like it, but I won’t be back.

What a great meal! We made our way to this new location of Costas Inn for a Sunday evening dinner. Though we had made reservations, we didn't need them as there were many available tables when we arrived. Landon was our server, and she was excellent. We ordered water, and as soon as it arrived, we placed our order. We each had crab soup, and both the size of the cup and bowl were bigger than those at other restaurants. The soup was tasty with lots of vegetables and lump crab meat. I ordered the soft shell crab platter with fries and apple sauce. The others in my party had crab cakes, and they looked and tasted very good. My soft-shell crabs were big and meaty, with a light coating. I opted to take my fries home so that I could get the rice pudding for dessert, and it was terrific. The rice was just the right consistency and very creamy.
The meal was terrific, and the location was nice, relatively close to home. I'm looking forward to returning here soon, and I highly recommend visiting for excellent food and service.

Yummm I gave them 4 stars because I really enjoyed my crab cake and it was a refreshing switch up from my usual crabcake spot. But the star of the show for me was the salad that came with the crabcake egg rolls. Im pretty sure it was the Greek salad. It was so fresh and it was unexpected! I never would have ordered it because I’m a salad snob and the ingredients should be really fresh. And I was happily crunching away lol. So that’s going to be a reoccurring order for me! Not the crab cake egg rolls though because they were not my speed! Just the Greek salad and a crab cake.
I also had the apple pie which was good
And the sundae which could’ve been amazing but the ice cream isn’t my favorite. The hot fudge and nuts had a really yummy almost cinnamon like flavor.
I did a large take out order but the service was great the entire transaction. I’m glad I tried it and I’m glad Costas is here.

The food lacked flavor and seasoning, making it very bland compared to the Essex location. Although the entrée I ordered was not on the menu, it is a famous dish from the original menu, and the waitress informed me that it would be added soon. My friend had to send one of her dishes back because it was tasteless, and her husband didn't enjoy his appetizer or entrée for the same reason. I am a regular at the Essex location and love Costas Inn. I understand that this is a new location, so I am willing to give it a second chance.
