#1 in customer satisfaction for what - the pharmacy? I have been a Plus member for nearly 10 years, and am experiencing a BIG problem with a delivery I was supposed to receive this morning. I ordered and paid through the app, and even prepaid my driver's tip - which runs counter to what I believe a tip is supposed to be for... outstanding service. I checked the box for meet the driver at my front door AND filled out the delivery instructions in an attempt to idiot proof my delivery. Never underestimate the stupidity of the general public! Despite my clear instructions I received a text message from Sam's Club Timonium that my order was delivered to the front door minutes earlier. I immediately went to the front door and out of the NINE items I ordered only one was there - a big box of canned cat food that was blocking me from opening my storm door. No knocking on the door, no ringing the doorbell, and no greet the driver at the front door. WTAF. I called the club immediately, used the automated operator, and was transferred to customer service. The phone rang at least a dozen times before it was answered. I explained what happened (and didn't happen) to the woman who answered. She said I'll transfer you to Curbside and did that before I could reiterate that it was a home delivery and not curbside. The transfer rang and rang with no answer for over three minutes so I hung up and called back. This time I reached someone named LeVar. I explained what happened and his response was that they use an outside service for home delivery and that that service was at fault. I told him that I paid Sam's Club for the food, that Sam's Club offers free delivery to Plus members, and that Sam's Club collected the tip - and that Sam's Club shouldn't shift blame to their sub-contractor when a customer calls with a problem. If there is an issue with the delivery company that's THEIR problem, not the customer's. The delivery driver did one of four things - he didn't pick up the entire order, he delivered 8/9ths of my order to someone else, he accidentally left it in his vehicle, or he stole it. Regardless of what happened, it shouldn't be MY problem. LeVar was polite throughout the call, and I'm assuming he followed the Sam's Club script, but the bottom line is that my food order wasn't delivered as promised. I asked if they could send another driver with the missing items or if I could drive to the club and pick them up myself, or if I could get an immediate refund. His answer to all three questions was no -- fabulous customer service, right? He said a refund would be initiated 24 hours from the time of delivery and should be in my account a few days after that. He also said he would reach out to the delivery service and call me back. It's now been over an hour since our phone conversation ended and (shocker) no call back. I am appalled by the fact that this is how Sam's Club handles customer complaints. He also said that I would have to contact the delivery company to get my driver's tip refunded. My great hope is that someone from Sam's Club corporate reads this and DOES SOMETHING to make it right with me and to change the internal process for handling this type of problem for ALL members. Based on previous deliveries from Sam's Club, I know that the driver is supposed to collect a signature or take a photo of the delivery items at the time of delivery - so please Sam's Club show me what you have. I am a VERY UNHAPPY customer.

Food is basic pizza, service is not good, and tables and drink areas are nasty. Wound up eating in my car.

To pay over $600 to order tires then be told you have to wait over a week to get the tires installed in is beyond ridiculous and the worst customer service I have ever heard!! I am definitely canceling my membership. I rather ride to BJs or Costco. This new system is absurd!!

Had a pleasant experience today that required multiple staff members help. I can’t remember everyone’s name but the floor manager and Nate at the service desk were wonderful, pleasant and super easy to talk to. Highly recommend this location!

I was shopping on Friday afternoon and had such a nice experience I wanted to share. I was looking at men’s watches and Beth was very helpful. Then at check out the girls Shakiaya & Sakinah were so pleasant. We talked about how easy it is to be nice to people. Then on top of that Devon at the door is always kind and a gentleman. I’ve met him from time to time all summer. Just wanted you to know it’s appreciated as a regular customer!

another problem at Sam's Club this time I'm being told that the tire center won't schedule appointments later than 4 even though they close at 7 and I know it won't take 3 hours to put tires on a car. the woman actually asked an employee if he would do our car at 5:30 because we work real jobs and can't be their any earlier. so basically the employees decide if customers can be seen and if they don't want to work till 7 they just make sure no customers are scheduled

This store is a pleasure to shop in. The employees are top notch and keep the store stocked & clean. They are friendly and patient. That is comforting in these crazy times. I want to personally shout out to Glendora for always having a smile at check out. I tried to tip her and she declined, so I hoped this was the next best thing!
