This place is a great find. The food was delicious and the service was good. The curries were actually spicy, tasted unique, and have different ingredients based on the type of curry you ordered. The curry was not watered down or made into a gravy, it was just right. My review only gets 4 stars overall because the chicken satay appetizer and rice portion that came with the curry was small relative to the prices on the menu.

I collected a Grubhub order from this establishment and I will never come back again. Not for service or work. The restaurant is extremely slow and short staffed. I was told my order would take another 15 minutes at 7pm. They did not get me the order until 7:40pm. The customer ordered at 6:46pm. I told another Grubhub driver that this establishment is always slow and I would not be picking up from here anymore because it throws off my entire night. The owner then tells me “Good, please don’t come back. We don’t want you here.” Imagine being rude to a customer because you’re slow and don’t want to hire more people. They aren’t kind or professional. Go somewhere else if you want to enjoy your night and be served in an appropriate amount of time.

Absolute Thai Sushi offers a manageable menu with a good variety. Staff are friendly and helpful in explaining the preparation of the different dishes, some classic and others creative. For appetizers, we shared two of each. The Veggie Spring Roll, a classic, was made of crispy spring rolls with vegetable and mung bean noodle stuffing, served with a sweet chili sauce. The four pieces were ideal for sharing. something new to us was the Cubic Chive Dumplings. These were small, deep-fried cubes of rice flour dough dumplings containing bright green chives and garlic. The eight cubes were topped with crispy fried fried garlic and came with a tasty sweet soy sauce. The Pad Thai was another classic with thin nice noodles and stir-fried with small dice red tofu, egg, scallions, bean sprouts, chicken, and a sprinkling of peanuts in Pad Thai sauce. There were two duck entries, and we chose the Boneless Duck Curry. The brilliant red-orange curry sauce enhanced the five spiced braised duck. The special red curry sauce also featured tomato, pineapple, red chili, and Thai basil. It was served with a side of jasmine rice. All the plates were neatly and brightly presented. We definitely got value and quality for our money.

I'm here to tell you to drop whatever you're doing and go to Absolute Thai-Sushi to get the pineapple fried rice with chicken & shrimp - HOLY MOLY. This fried rice is so insanely delicious!! Really flavorful blend of spices and veggies. The shrimp especially was perfectly cooked. If I had to say one negative, I agree with another reviewer that the tomato chunks were off putting, but i am not a fan of tomato, so there's that. I also noticed the tomato in other dishes anyway, so I think it's just part of their style. Also, the portions are huge! This rice dish lasted like three meals for me, so definitely well worth the price. We love a generous meal!The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and very clean with great service. It opens up into the Kenilworth shopping center, so keep that in mind depending on the vibe you're going for for dine-in. I personally would highly recommend for a casual lunch/dinner spot, and definitely for takeout! YUM!

I got takeout, trying the edamame, tom yum, papaya salad, basil stir fry, and thai iced tea, all really common American Thai options. Everything tasted great. Very flavorful without being too salty. I got everything mild, and the restaurant honored that request; something which I find Thai restaurants struggle to do (their mild is America's hot or at least medium). The tom yum wasn't fishy tasting, and all the meats (I got chicken throughout) were cooked well—nothing rubbery, fatty, or questionable.The man who gave me my order upon pickup was cheerful. The food was already waiting, with my drink outside the bag so that it wouldn't spill. Nothing was leaking or spilled.I didn't eat there, but the place was really nice looking and clean. It made quite an ambiance for being in a mini-mall. I'd eat in sometime.
