Service is lovely and I always enjoy the food. However, they don't have public Wifi (and I came here to get work done with breakfast and coffee). Oh, well.

Goodness. What didn't go wrong? Table was dirty and wobbly. Had to ask for silverware and napkins. Cheese left off sandwich. We were visiting our hometown of Towson after having moved away. Atwaters and frankly much of Towson has gone down hill. How sad. I miss the days of Stebbins, Paolo's, Borders. Now Atwaters has stopped doing table service. Ugh. So disappointed. It used to be a wonderful brunch place, so chic.

My family has been a big fan of Atwater’s for a decade. We loved visiting the one no longer there in Canton, Baltimore. We have since visited the one in Kenilworth. I think the food and service is great however I wanted to point out an issue with the lack of consistency with coffee drinks. Maybe there has been a recent change but for years we’ve loved the iced lattes. The last two visits we’ve noticed a significant drop off in the quality and more specifically the strength of the lattes. We were a huge fan because of the strong quality coffee flavor you would get with the lattes. Our last two visits it looks as though you are just getting 95% milk(from an odd looking chicken stock style box) with a shot or two on top, not even mixed in. It basically tastes like semi flavored milk. It used to be a dark color that was rich and delicious. Now it seems to be a watered down milk flavor. I would advise to please take a look at this because I am sure there are many, like myself, that come for the coffee and would opt for another option if this is the new standard. Thanks

I want to say I love it but unfortunately it’s a hit or miss… the first time I went I absolutely loved their matcha and the iced lattes were good but recently the quality has been bad. I got a very watered down matcha and sadly I had to throw it out because it just wasn’t drinkable.

Lovely work and study space with good food and friendly staff. No wifi - so make sure you've got access to a hotspot if you need it!

So I love this place. I come here once a week and everyone is always friendly except for this one young lady they call Kat. She always seems to have a personal problem with me and I don’t even know why. Today she brought over my food and as she handed it to me she rolled her eyes at me and I could do nothing but laugh. I hate to even think that she has a problem with me because I’m a black man because we are in the year 2024 but those people do still exist. One other encounter was when I asked for very little ice in my drink and she had to do it again and again because it was still too much ice. I don’t wanna stop coming her just because of her but I might not have a choice because I don’t like to spend my hard earned money on establishments that condone this kind of behavior. I can feel it in her energy that I’m probably right in assuming that she’s a bigot. If I see that she is working whenever I come back I’ll probably just go somewhere else.

I love this location, the staff are kind and very efficient. Food is always excellent and tasty. Even the best restaurants have a miss from time to time. Just before Thanksgiving, the restaurant was featuring a cornbread and sausage dressing in their case for sale. So disappointing, it was overly sweet and the sausage flavor was over powering. The taste does not resemble any dressing I have ever had. I actually tossed the whole thing out. I think Atwater's should stick to what they have always done best, fine soups, sandwiches, and baked goods. Leave the dressing to someone else.
