Would recommend, the rating they have is earned and the tea stands out amongst a sea of boba tea shops. I enjoy trying new boba tea shops as there’s thousands of them. Never tried a Chatime before but this one had me curious due to a 4.9 rating on Google. I try to judge boba based on the quality of tea and selection of tea. Real tea and not dozens of fruit flavored drinks. I had the HongKong Style Milk tea, and the tea part was exceptional and strong. Wish I lived near by so I could try the Earl Grey. Although Chatime does have fruit flavored drinks as well, in fact they have a large extensive menu. The boba pearls were fresh and chewy. GF had the tiramisu milk tea and loved it. Also had a Bao pork bun, if you don’t frequent Asian foods 5/5, if you do 3/5 can be found at a certain grocery mart. Actually the best tea I’ve had boba wise, above average tapioca pearls. Wish they had more sugar level options. Again the tea is exceptionally quality brewed and strong.

I’ve gotten a taro slush before at various other places but I have to say this is probably the best I’ve had by far. Taro slush is totally my go-to at boba shops and this place definitely did not disappoint! Super flavorful and the perfect consistency! Staff were really kind and helpful. I will be returning!

The owner and people here were remarkably friendly. Each member of my family got different drinks, (which I got to sample 😆) and they were just on point! We had some delicious sweet rice treats, got to lounge and play connect 4! This is where we will go to get some drinks when we’re downtown Towson

I’m fairly new to the area, and I happened to stumble across this shop. This is my first time here, and it definitely won’t be my last time coming here….. So delicious!!!

This is such a cute little shop! The guys were very sweet and the drinks and b7ns were delicious! We bought the chicken and roasted pork buns and milk tea smoothie and lavender milk tea! Great prices for what you get! I will definitely return!

I no longer recommend Cha time on account of how poorly the owner treated the employees (berating them, condescending, despite one who was admittedly new.) This is the owner, it is the same woman who worked at the TU pop-up shop, talked with my family about how she became the owner, and greeted me the past two years I've frequented the place. Very disheartening and I hope the two employees find kinder and more patient environments.

Absolutely awful customer experience because of management/owner.
I hope she learns to treat her employees politely and appropriately - otherwise she'll probably be constantly training new people because honestly nobody would keep going to that job if that's how management treats them
Edit: the owner's reply is nonsense. That manager was absolutely berating those employees. It was genuinely despicable to see a human being treat another human being like that. And absolutely makes sense that she'd try to weasel out of it with some nonsense reply instead of owning up to her abhorrent behavior
