Their ice-cream is so good just wish they had dairy free options so that their lactose intolerant customers or those on alternative diets can purchase from them too. I was surprised to see that it didn't look like they had any options for this.

My son enjoys stopping here for an occasional treat. He has tried a couple different things on the menu and has liked the brown sugar matcha latte the best. He subs milk for almond milk and it is very good. The employees are also very nice and helpful. The place is always clean and is nicely decorated.

The Hunt Valley location has terrible service and they serve stale frozen cheesecake, ripping you a fortune for cardboard made in china. No refund, no apologies. Manager refused yo acknowledge/refund.

My friend and I decided to order a bunch of desserts to go and they were all lovely.
We ordered the mochi soy cream cake, cherry blossom jello, passion fruit cake, tiramisu cake, and matcha red bean cake. I really enjoyed the passion fruit cake and mochi soy cream cake, while my friend loved the tiramisu cake. The matcha red bean cake was my least favorite, but I look forward to trying more desserts. I’ll definitely be returning for the passion fruit cake.

I really like this place. I ordered matcha latte with half and half soft serve ice cream. It was really good. I thought 50% sugar was still kinda sweet to my taste.
I ordered matcha tiramisu cake because it was only a dine-in menu. It was decent but not the best i had.
Very cute and casual place to drink matcha or eat any matcha related. Giving off japanese vibe.

Having just returned from Japan and experienced authentic matcha in Kyoto, I must say Kyoto Matcha in Towson is a 10/10. The flavors are rich, perfectly balanced, and transport you straight to Japan—authentic without being too sweet. The Ube cake was also exceptional, easily a 10/10. Rachel at the front provided detailed recommendations for both drinks and desserts, and her expertise made the experience even better. They also have games to play with friends and family while you enjoy a drink/desert. I’ll definitely be back!
