Good food for the area. Bathrooms needed to be clean even though it was empty.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina and will not be returning. My cousin and I ordered the $5 House Margaritas, but her glass arrived dirty. She informed our waiter, Alex, who brought it to the bartender. Shockingly, the bartender’s first instinct was to pour the drink from the dirty glass into a new one instead of remaking it. Luckily, my cousin was watching her closely. To make matters worse, the bartender was on her cell phone and eating while remaking the drink. At that point, my cousin told Alex to just cancel the drink altogether.

While we understand Alex was new and tried his best, it was hard to extend grace when we had to constantly remind him about basics like water or specific sauces for our meal. When the check arrived, Alex told us the margarita was removed from the bill, but it wasn’t. While the appetizers we sent back were comped, the margarita still showed up, adding to our frustration.

At that point, we were so over the experience we just wanted to leave without making a scene. This visit left such a bad taste that I won’t return and will be warning family and friends to avoid this location. Cleanliness, professionalism, and basic service expectations were all seriously lacking.

asked to seat myself and proceeded to get ignored by wait staff for over 30 minutes. tried waving, was looked at and then walked by. Never even got a menu.

Looks nice from the outside the inside too but to start we got sat at a dirty table (it wasn’t busy btw). They changed us to another one only for the waiter to bring me water with lettuce floating around in a dirty glass 🙄 🤷🏾‍♀️ I didnt eat a single thing so no food review but yall definitely need to clean up in there. 0/10 go here if u wanna get sick

Rolled up cold shredded cheese is not a cheese enchilada. What a disappointment from a chain restaurant that has proven it knows how to do it right elsewhere. Complete waste of money for that, as well as the rest of what was ordered.

This place has gone downhill continuously. I order pretty frequently. They screw the food up and can’t get mobile orders from hours before out on time. I ordered Birria tacos today for pickup not only were they not ready didn’t even have the broth. Done ordering from them. No wonder they are consistently empty.
