Just an amazing place with great people always with a smile.
I liked the pastries and coffee. The employees were friendly. The day I visited, the room was chilly and I had to leave my winter jacket on to keep warm. I would recommend turning up the heat and adding colorful decors as the room had no warmth. Need to make the place more about interesting by adding interesting decors with colors
New manager Kayla is rude, unprofessional and mean. I have been a daily customer at Roggenart Towson since they opened, and always have my small service dog with me. I have always been welcomed there by the previous manager & staff. I am 70 yo and disabled. This new manager confronted me and asked me to leave because I had my dog with me. It may be a new policy, but I was not aware of this, and it’s the wrong way to treat a customer. Yesterday, I tried to place an order from the front door, because no one picked up the phone, then she ran out & said I could not order from the front door. This is such bad business. You don’t grow a company by insulting, embarrassing and humiliating customers. I’ll never ever go there again. Disgraceful.

Ordered 3 Danish and a lemon tart. The Danish were just ok and the lemon tart, again, just ok. The Danish were more like croissants and a little in the dry side. I was really looking forward to the tart, but the crust was so hard and thick, it wasn't even enjoyable. I just at the lemon filling. Very overpriced for what we recived.

Comfortable seating and good light and space for a coffee, pastry and sandwich shop. My wife loves their coffee but the fruit tart we had was very mediocre as the crust was extremely hard and bland.

We picked up a few pastries for our weekend guests to enjoy with coffee before hitting the road. Everything was delicious!

Fast casual French bistro & bakery. The baked goods are amazing - it’s pretty much impossible to leave without something to go. The sandwiches are good too, particularly the chicken salad, but hard to match the bakery.

Atmosphere: The venue is aesthetically pleasing, offering a comfortable and stylish environment that is well-suited for enjoying time with family or friends. The space is meticulously maintained, contributing to a pleasant overall experience.
Customer Service: Unfortunately, the service falls short of expectations. Despite the presence of four staff members, the level of professionalism was lacking. One diligent Hispanic employee appeared overwhelmed, frequently moving between tasks but not engaging with customers. Another staff member seemed preoccupied with rearranging pastries rather than addressing the needs of waiting patrons. The remaining staff members were notably inattentive, engaging in idle gossip rather than attending to customer service. Additionally, an order was forgotten, prompting a customer to remind the staff to fulfill their request.
Food: The culinary offerings are visually appealing but inconsistent in quality. The Boston Cream Danish was a highlight, meeting a satisfactory standard for Towson. However, the brownie and Dutch pretzel were notably disappointing. The brownie was excessively hard, and despite repeated attempts to soften it, it remained almost inedible. The Dutch pretzel also lacked freshness, suggesting that these items were not recently baked.
In my professional opinion, these products were far from the standard expected in a European-style pastry establishment.
In conclusion, while the ambiance and appearance of the pastries might be promising, the service and food quality do not meet the mark. This establishment, though currently the sole option in Towson for European-style pastries, would benefit from significant improvements in both service and product freshness to enhance the overall customer experience.

Atmosphere was nice the place was bigger than I thought. Went to try a new cafe with my boyfriend, the staff was friendly and informative. They have a book at each table for you to look while waiting for your food. Ours happens to be a collection of poems.
A nice place to relax and do some work and have a small treat. As the pastries I saw look so delicious.
My boyfriend requested if he could have eggs with his sandwich, they’re only able to do scramble which was okay. Looked good when we got our order. Which was nice to know they’re able to customize a bit with some menu items.
The food I had would say was good overall but that’s about it, if I wanted something simple and light. I had the smoked omelette with two pieces of bread.
As for the coffee was not impressed, I don’t know what about mine was just not as flavorful as I would have wanted. Tasted watered down and did not taste like mocha or hazelnut at all.
My boyfriend said it’s possible they might of just not made it well as his tasted good, he ordered just a hazelnut latte
Would say it’s a bit pricey for what we paid

Great addition to Towson, but everytime I go it seems like it’s the staff’s first day. 3 times in a row now they were extremely confused about my coffee order. I’m talking an iced americano and iced chai latte, not some insanely complicated Starbucks order. Their turkey, egg and cheese croissant is huge though, and definitely my favorite thing to get

Food is decent, service isn't always the friendliest. Was interrupted and demanded to order my food louder, and then the cashier still wasn't ringing up the quantities correctly.
I've seen large flies and fruit flies in the pastry case several times now. Isn't it possible to enclose a pastry case? I really enjoyed the pastries and would purchase for client meetings until I started noticing that recently.
They have messed up lattes a few times and don't mix them well, resulting in bitter espresso drinks. Flavoring is always on the bottom and not mixed in the drink. It's hit and miss with the drinks depending who makes them.
Ordering layout is very difficult, the register is cramped in a corner where behind the pastry case where people are always loitering. A second register would be helpful like the location in Mt Vernon. Much nicer staff there, too.
Overall, it's a really cute cafe inside but I haven't been as inclined to visit much lately because of the lack of friendliness and flies in the pastry case from my last visit.

Tastefully decorated decor adds to the wonderful ambiance of this great sandwich shop and bakery… both were delicious, and the staff served up exceptional customer service!
Parking: Parking in Towson is all metered- to me, not the greatest for those visiting out of town. Having to pay a buck in quarters for 15 minutes is a bit steep; either that or get a parking ticket.
