Garbage shake—extremely liquidy and half-filled. I honestly can’t believe how bad of a shake this was for a place named shake shack.
Burger was fine, a little greasy.

This was underwhelming.. I got a burger and a chicken sandwich to try them both.
The chicken: - Flavourless, mostly tasting like chicken base + oil - Sauce was nothing special - Chicken was dry as a bone - Bun was like a smashed cheap potato roll from a grocery store - Bunch of wilty shredded lettuce
The Burger: - Also extremely dry - Basic mayo sauce was ok - Same lettuce and bun as the chicken - Basically unseasoned beef as the patty.
TL:DR; Very bland. You're probably better off at McDonalds, and I really don't like McDonalds..

The food and location is good, but beware if you are ordering on the the app. The app automatically asks for a 10% tip for pick up orders. What am I tipping for? Tipping is getting ridiculous.

I am on diet and starved myself all day to enjoy the holiday sticky toffee pudding shake, so I was pissed as hell that Shake Shack Towson handed me a half-melted shake at the counter. I would have sent it back, but I didn’t notice until I was past the whipped cream. I hate runny shakes so I won’t be back unless I have a promotion to use.
Edit: I gave Shake Shack another chance and they really nailed my Christmas cookie shake. They were also running an incredible promotion which netted me a free big shack with my $10+ purchase. Consequently, I have updated my review to reflect the much more positive experience I had the second time.

Just to give everyone some objective perspective, I love shake shack and the food tastes great.
I got food poisoning though at this location this past Tuesday, 12/2. I was the last order here, left around 8:50-9pm. I ordered a big shack, fries and a mango drink. Seemed like the workers wanted to leave asap since I would too if I were them. The burger was not hot when I received it and after I ate the big shack, I got food poisoning. Had to call off work for two days and today I have enough energy to actually write a review. Legit thought I was gonna die and wouldn’t want anyone to experience what I went through.
Maybe I had a bad batch of food or something but I mean, either way, managements gotta step it up, actually cook the food and not serve sitting out patties and putting it on a bun. Only reason why I could think I got food poisoning. Anything I ate that day before was kind bars and a fruit so…. It had to be shake shack.
I’m not writing this to ruin any businesses, and obviously I don’t have any proof besides a receipt but it would be nice if management can respond back to this review and reassure me that changes will be made and I can get some form of reimbursement. If you actually care, please leave a number for me to call you guys. Thanks

The best Shake Shack I’ve been to by a long shot. Everything was fresh, delicious, and the service was spectacular. It’s very clear that the manager Chance takes great pride in his store. I can’t say enough positive things about this experience.

The food is pretty good, not outstanding. I tried their frozen custard and it had junks of ice in it when custard is supposed to be smooth. The servers were very kind and gave me extra ice cream scoops. 😋🍨
It’s a great burger shop! And their burgers taste great. Service is good but could be better compared to other restaurants in the area.
I went there once and I’ll probably visit again. The Dubai chocolate milkshake was overrated in my opinion. It was too sweet and not worth the price. Also it didn’t really look like the advertised version.

I used to frequent Shake Shack on Columbus Ave and it was always a favorite. Lately, the burgers I have eaten at the Towson location taste like the school lunch variety cheeseburger that I was served in elementary school, and the fries are tasteless.
