Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill

​We stopped by for the first time and had a nice experience. The restaurant has a great atmosphere—it was buzzing, with every table occupied. While the food was just okay, the setting made the visit worthwhile. My chicken dish was a bit lackluster, though it did have some flavor. My wife's meatloaf was a better choice. Given the prime location and enjoyable vibe, I'll certainly give it another try.

We had a reservation so we were seated right away. We had the deviled eggs appetizer. For dinner, I had the lamb chop lollipops, my wife had the steak and my son the London dip. The food and atmosphere were really good. Our waitress was very kind and for the most part very attentive.

The bread was amazing. The chicken breast was rubbery. The mashed potatoes were great as was the broccoli. The service was above average.

I had the lamb chops and Tuscan chicken at Stoney River, and both were amazing — cooked perfectly and full of flavor! The deviled eggs were my least favorite, but everything else made up for it. The seasonal drinks were a 10/10! Great food, great vibes — I’ll definitely be back.

I ordered the whiskey river shrimp and only received 4 instead of the usual 5. Not happy at all for $17. the bartender insists the usual order is only 4. little does he know I'm regular enough and always order it so I know he wasn't sure. And they had been sitting. Not happy

The welcome at the entrance was lovely and the ambience is breathtaking. Despite of having lovely and nice service staff they completely forget to serve us with bred and butter! Me and my friend had the same steak with served fries. Both of them was completely cold and not freshly made! Overall a disappointing experience in a beautiful restaurant

What a nice place. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. We had a large party and our waitress was superb. I wish I could remember her name 😔. She was very attentive and took great care of us. Everything was absolutely delicious. Be careful, that hot sweet bread they brought to the table is dangerously delicious. I ended up getting the Danish ribs and they were both tender and flavorful. I will definitely be back.

We always have a good experience at Stoney River Steakhouse in Towson. We love the steaks, the salads and veggies are fresh, and the service is attentive but not intrusive. We celebrated our 54 years of living together at Stoney River last night, one of our 2 anniversaries, and had a great time! Thank you to all the staff members!

This review is a bit overdue, but my first experience at Stoney River on September 6th was nothing short of impeccable. My boyfriend and I were taken care of by Brandon, and not only was he extremely friendly, he was hilarious and personable. From the moment we walked in I knew we made the right choice to celebrate our one year anniversary here. Our meals also exceeded our expectations and the price wasn’t unreasonable for how quality the food was. I’ve since then recommended this restaurant to my friends and told them to ask for Brandon. He is what every professional should strive to be. 10/10 experience.

This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and serves delicious food. The servers are cordial and attentive. They really take care in preparing the meal to your liking. Steak was fork tender and BBQ ribs were falling off the bone. Can’t wait to try their Brunch!

First time here, I really liked that the dress code was casual relaxed, The laid back atmosphere is wonderful it’s upscale without the rules of being uncomfortable while eating like other high end steak houses the food was amazing I had the cowboy ribeye cooked to perfection melted in mouth 5 stars to the chef. Will definitely be back.
