I went to Japan and the sushi here was comparable. Some of the best sushi I have had in the DMV. Also the people who own/ run this place are super nice so that’s a plus.

Disappointed with the ordering process on the box by the doorway near the koi fish tank. Most of the items were blank so I couldn’t see what they look like and took a gamble on ordering the boss roll. It was good and the salmon roll was good .

I really like this sushi spot. The ambiance is very nice, it’s always clean, calm, and a great place to hang out. The Summer Heat Roll is my favorite, it’s fresh and has just the right amount of kick. I did have one visit where the server seemed uninterested and in a rush despite there not being very many people in the restaurant, but every other time the service has been great. Overall, it’s one of my go-to sushi places in the area.

Sushi roll ( California Roll) was good, so was the yum-yum sauce. The Miso Soup was rotten or spoiled. I took one small ( thankfully) sip of the soup and spit it out. It even looked curdled. Not sure what is going on there. The brown liquid that I assume was for the salad also tasted rancid. The tempura veggies and shrimp were good.
