It's obvious this restaurant has invested a lot of money into the location. I wish the owners well, understanding the difficulties in running a small business. In my opinion, the food tastes good... the herbs and spices is certainly not off the shelf. My criticism layes on two fronts. Value leaves little to be desired. I ordered goat ($23) and received nothing in addition to a small portion of deliciously seasoned meat that was notoriously difficult to chew. Anyone who is familiar with this cut is well aware of how tough the meat is, so I am left disappointed. Thank goodness I had rice at home to eat with my $23 before taxes and tip "meal". Finally, I felt uncomfortable seeing thin plastic bag designed to make cleaning the metal bins easier. With all of the latest studies pointing to the dangers of cooking/warming foods in contact with... I sincerely hope they adjust their practices so that customers won't only eat food that has flavor, but is truly healthy to consume. I'll definitely give another try... I look forward to an improved experience.
The fish was amazing. I got the Suya as well but the meant was not tender, very tough and chewy. The beef stew was the same but the meat in it even tougher. You can tell it’s not fresh meat in the stew.

The food is extremely overpriced, and over spiced to compensate for tastelessness. The young lady with the golden braids was rude and treated me and my niece with utter disdain although we spent too much for food I can’t even eat. I don’t recommend this location and won’t return.

I ordered Suya and Jollof rice using door dash despite what the reviews said but to be fair I should have listened. The meat was extremely dry and tough and I’m confused on why because I ordered when they first opened up. Now the jollof rice was good but I was really desiring the suya more than anything. If the owner see this, please get the lovely wife back on the kitchen to oversee things. Apparently she was the reason things were good and the meal that I got wants me to never want to return so trust you are losing customers because the meat is dry and tough and before you assume my review will not do much just know I had three other people waiting on my review but now I’m inclined to tell them not to even visit you. So please fix this to help your business.
Love the atmosphere and music was torch and food was even better. Place like a home away from home you gotta come check it out. Kukoyi one of the directors was super nice and looked out for us.
