Wanted to like this place but kitchen had some issues. Crab soup was good but oversalted. Fried oysters were served luke warm. Can't really mess up those things if you want to be a seafood restaurant in Baltimore.

Gourmet is not the same restaurant when it opened which was outstanding. The last time we came for dinner I ordered the maple teriyaki-glazed salmon with udon noodles and stir fry vegetables. I had ordered it before and it was outstanding. This time salmon was not as flavorful. Instead of udon noodles, spaghetti was substituted. There could not been more than 4 or 5 pieces of stir fry. We decided to try again this past Friday. Again, the meal was not up to par. A Tuscan black bean and shrimp soup had a thick, gloppy base with a very few black beans and small canned shrimp. A cajun flatbread had the same canned shrimp with tasteless chicken pieces. It was supposed to have andouille sausage and I'd be damned if I found any. They have really cut back on the quality of their meals. The noise level is awful. Would recommend sitting in the upper section where the noise level is slightly reduced.

I had the pleasure of having dinner for the first time with visiting family this past week. Hands down one of the best dining experiences ive had in Towson and I'm allergic to shellfish!! The menu has a bit of everything to suffice for all tastes from the Caribbean Moscow mule to the pistachio crusted salmon. Definitely worth the visit!

Great experience w Mo as our server. Suggest that when you aren't busy you put guests at more comfortable tables. Your two-tops frankly just suck, and the first one we were seated at didn't have enough room to pull out a chair. We asked to be moved and were accommodated to a 4top in the 80% empty restaurant with no problem. We liked our food, and have been in at least a 1/2 dz times.
The food was good but the ambience didn't match the menu. It was very bright, kind of loud, and the seating was not great. The table was small, next to a wall. My wife had a door that opened directly behind her, causing a draft, and I had warm air from a vent blowing strongly down on me. Service was great, but the ambience made it hard to enjoy the food.

I really like this place the food is absolutely exceptional I've eaten here several times with my mother who lives very close by however it seems to me that the food quality has gone down a bit I would have given it five stars back in the day but my past few trips it seems that the food quality is slipping my favorite dish is the lobster crab dip which used to have big chunks of crab and lobster all through it as of the last few times I've had it though not so much also they give you a tiny little piece of baguette for a giant dish of crab dip you only get several little crackers and a tiny piece of baguette with about three pieces on it when you asked for more baguette you would assume that you would get half a loaf or something they charge you a $1.50 and bring you three more tiny slices so I'm a bit disappointed in that I mean there needs to be a bit more bread and crackers to eat this giant bowl of crab dip the fresh fish here is amazing I always get it and highly recommend getting some sort of fish dish you won't be sorry just be aware of this place is a bit expensive and if you get the crab dip situation be aware you're going to need to get at least one or two more baguettes in order to eat what they Supply doesn't really make any sense to me I hope they fix this cuz it's a bit disappointing as good as this dish is you need to have some way to eat it not just spoon it into your mouth overall the quality is good here if they fix the few little issues that they have this could be a five star restaurant but as of right now I can't offer the five stars due to the crab dip going down in quality and the price being so exceptionally High $1.50 for a bag at the size of a small Tangerine is a bit ridiculous especially when you don't supply enough to begin with with the dish. Also last time I was here I tried the gumbo I was not very impressed mostly sausage and Ham gumbo is supposed to have crab and shrimp in it which I did not find any as well as it was very spicy almost so spicy it was almost inedible and not served with enough rice so my recommendation is the gumbo needs an update or it could have just been a bad day this is the first time I've had the gumbo but I was not impressed and probably would not order it again this is another reason that my rating is not five stars but Overall the staff is friendly the place is beautiful on the inside and the food is very good when you get enough of it if they fix the quality issues then I could raise it back to Five Stars this will not prevent me from going back so we'll see if I change my review in the next few months as I go there at least once a month.

The menu selections are varied, you are bound to find something you like. I've enjoyed everything that I have tried from the appetizers, wings, mussels, crab dip, calamari, all good! The salmon and rainbow trout are my favorites.
