Went there around 5 on the Friday of St Patrick’s Day weekend and it was virtually empty, which we found odd being that it’s the only Irish pub in Towson. They didn’t have booster seats or high chairs for our 2 year old which was no big deal. Bartender/server was very nice. We ordered fish and chips and a Reuben but they were somehow out of chips? At 5 pm on a Friday? Kind of bizarre. Food ended up taking a literal hour. Server apologized multiple times and took an entree off our check, but it didn’t make any sense since the place was very empty. We didn’t even eat the fish since it was grey and looked very odd. Reuben was good. It’s a shame since the bar itself was really cool. We may give it another chance - drinks only.Edit: my son had a small piece of the fish and threw up an hour later. So our hesitance was confirmed that the fish looked bad.

Food is- meh.... 45 minutes to get an order of beet salad, fish and chips and cottage pie. Probably a good bar only. Fish was small bites, beets were from a can and NOT wedges as described, cottage pie was all potatoes. Managers clearly enjoyed dinner in the kitchen eating freely. Little gross, totally underwhelming, fine for college kids who don't know better.

We were visiting Towson, MD looking for a place to get a bite. We saw the Kent Irish Pub and decided to give it a try. The staff were very upbeat and the food was delicious. On our way out the owner stopped us and introduced himself. We enjoyed our conversation with him.

Great atmosphere but staff are rude, floors are sticky, no more free parking out back, frozen food.... it is what it is...

The ole Kent Lounge, owned by greeks for years and may still be, transformed into Kent House Irish Pub. Ah, the power of marketeers and decorators. Was the best place for years in towson for cheap beer booze n grub as well as local color & characters. Mr Pete and George and Walter and Steve where art thou?

The Kent House is a little piece of Ireland, as well as all the history and atmosphere of a traditional Irish pub right here in the heart of Towson! Great service, friendly crowd good drink!

Sit down service is awful. We waited over an hour to get some food and the server was too busy talking to her friends and doing God knows what.

I went pee before I attempted to get a drink, I even had one of my friends save a spot for me at the bar. As I was coming up to order, Noelle(?) I think that’s her name basically yelled/scolded me in front of the entire bar for using the bathroom.
