I am a 21 year old student at Towson university and got denied from Rec. As a person of color I am highly offended. I witnessed under age white students get in with their fake ID’s, paying to get in, and using vertical ID’s with money. In the future I hope rec can do better.

My group and I came in around 5:30pm-6:00pm and it wasn't too busy. Our server/bartender was really sweet. They kept checking on us too make sure we were good and all refilled. My first problem was my water. There were live bugs floating in my water. Looked like gnats or mosquitos :// Then I ordered the short rib tacos. The meat was extremely salty so it was difficult to enjoy. The rest of my party enjoyed their food (burger, chicken tenders).

Parking: Parking in Towson, depending upon location can be difficult- that, and having to pay a buck in quarters for 15 minutes certainly isn’t a warm welcome by the city!

Just wanted to let everyone know that the bar section doesn’t actually ID people. I came here to pick up my fiance and I saw a girl get let in with an INSURANCE CARD, a guy get let in who didnt even have an ID, a girl who the bouncer acknowledged her ID was fake and still let her in, and I personally saw people I know from school here who are not 21 years old yet. I will be calling BCPD to report this as well.

Had a small private party of 10 for the holidays. Thanks to Gill as his service was top notch. The atmosphere was festive and the food was great. Brian Recher does a great job. Go in and visit! I promise you’ll stay awhile!
Great atmosphere and great place to see live music. They have an indoor concert area and love the outdoor area.

The worst experience I’ve ever had, my friend slipped and fell due to the roof leaking and this establishment did not care at all!!!! Worst service we have ever received and they had the audacity to call the police instead of doing their job !!!! Would never recommend to
