Wow, what a find for me. The Sassy Skillet has been around for three years or so, tucked away on the first floor of a Towson office building - on the alley even. From the outside, the kind of place that you might not give a second thought to. Boy would that be a mistake. Fantastic menu with more selections than most breakfast places, very reasonable prices, large servings and such excellent flavoring. It will be my new go-to breakfast joint! Thanks, Sassy Skillet for doing what you do so well!

The chef, staff, and atmosphere make you feel at home. This would have been a top notch experience even if we hadn’t gotten food. Yet I dared to try something new, and was rewarded with a delicious, hot meal of titanic proportions. I am just in town passing through, so I can’t become the regular here I would be if I were a local. If you are passing through, stop in, bring friends and a big appetite!! Pictured:

The BEST breakfast! Just went with a party of 12 for Mother’s Day brunch. This was a big group for a restaurant of this size but they handled us beautifully! We forgot to take pics, but loved it all-from the specialty juices and the watermelon mint lemonade to the wonderful food. Our party had sausage and gravy biscuit breakfasts, avocado toast, the keep it simple, French toast, blueberry pancake breakfasts, burrito, and pancakes with strawberries. Everything was a hit and each of us raved about our dishes. Not one miss for anyone in a party of 12! My mother said we should come back every Sunday!
It is in the ground floor of an office building and the entrance is on the side as you enter the parking lot. It is cute on the inside with plenty of seating. It is an order at the counter and take seat place. I ordered the Chicken Pesto wrap - it was huge and delicious!
4/20/25 - We were welcomed immediately with a smile and greeting.
We stopped by after seeing views and ratings, especially after we read that their home fries were seasoned, but we didn't stay to eat because of the cafeteria vibe. The food might be good, even great, but the atmosphere threw us off. Maybe another day

Best hot latte. O. G. Avocado Toast was just right. Partner got the Farmers Breakfast and the potatoes were delicious, not just the usual filler item, they had nice seasoning. The blueberry pancakes were huge, fluffy and delicious. Will definitely be back.
Great little breakfast secret! We had the Biscuits & Gravy Breakfast and the Do You Dare? Omg, you could easily feed 4 people with the Do You Dare. Everything was delicious and made fresh with fresh ingredients and love. You can tell the owner/chef is passionate about food. Don't miss this one.
This place is a hidden gem! My husband and I really enjoyed our breakfast here.
Just one recommendation : GET READY TO EAT.
The portions in this small cafe are huge! Definitely the price, quantity and quality is worth it here! They offer really creative choices like the pancake burrito and much more! The staff is really cordial and everyone is really nice. I would 100% go back to the Sassy Skillet and try some more of their menu!
Nicest people, great service, best food!

Best Pancake I’ve had in a long time. 3 large fluffy pancakes. The owner took the time to share up and coming recipes. Super chill and friendly spot. I’ll be back. Thanks so much for the samples.
I've been here several times and the food is great. Wayyyy better taste and flavor than IHOP, First Watch, etc... The food portions are huge. I eat a lot in one sitting and I can't even finish most times. Had the pancake tacos (1 is enough to fill me up), sassy sampler, and a couple breakfast bowls. All are very good. Just be prepared to hunt for it first time you go. It's on the ground floor of a corporate building (but has an exterior entrance)
Food is always good, hidden gym in Towson. Highly recommend
we had a wonderful omlette bar for the teachers at our school! Glen was easy to work with and the food was great!
This is a cozy little breakfast nook off the beaten path that was a pleasant find. It presents as a take out but will serve counter orders to the tables they have. The breakfast tacos require a big appetite (more than I could eat) , and were delicious. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The prices are kind to your wallet. Parking is the only downside.
We will be back.
