Traditional bar/restaurant. Not screaming college town, which we appreciated. Very nice staff--Brought birthday cake to a member of our party unsolicited. Food was good, but not exceptional, brunch/lunch fare. French press coffee a nice touch. Excellent value.

Checked the menu online for restaurant week. When we arrived we found the menu had changed. Then out of our first choice entree and dessert. Our second choices were perfectly delicious.

The Restaurant Week experience was solid. Service was kind, answered all of our questions, and spaced out everything. The food was flavorful with great portions, one of the better deals for the value in Towson. The drink list is always top notch.

The ambiance and server were great. They were out of smoked salmon Sunday morning at 10 am for brunch? Seems odd. My friends omelette were overcooked. My other friend and I had the breakfast burrito which had no flavor whatsoever. I had steak in mine which was just hammered. I took it home for my dogs. So sad. Really wanted to like this place.

Food continues to be consistently very good and still reasonably priced. Bar tender Chris makes a wonderful Cosmo and Manhattan. Red velvet cake was delish. No better server than Spike.

This was our first time to Towson Tavern. We were very impressed with the environment which created a relaxing and enjoyable environment. Our waitress was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable about the foods and drink menus and made excellent recommendations regarding food and beverages. She was also very upbeat and engaging which we enjoyed. The food was excellent and the portions were quite substantial. We would not hesitate to recommend Towson Tavern to our friends.
