Always a delicious meal there. I got the recently added to the menu pan fried chicken. It was some of the very best fried chicken I've ever eaten. The chicken jus that comes with it is like chicken butter and enhances every bite with a little dip. Husband got the Greek pasta bake and couldn't eat but half of it, it was such a nice portion and very satisfying. Very tasty. The focaccia pieces are the best part of the bread basket. Top off with a half price bottle of wine and it's the perfect date evening!

My wife and I both had the scallops dinner. It had been months since either of us had scallops and these were outstanding. My wife had the Tiramisu cake that Samantha recommended and really enjoyed it. Samantha's service was excellent as usual. We will definitely return.

The BEST!! Never expected this quality in a small shore community. One of the best crab cakes and bucatini dishes....the Chianti was perfection...and service was even better! AND the rolls. So good! Don't sleep on this beautiful location in small town eastern shore. ❤️

Momma Maria's is a hidden gem in the small town of Trappe. The food is well-prepared and menu choices were excellent for our group. The staff are energetic and pleasant. They have a good wine list to choose from and a full bar.

Was greeted promptly when entering. Server was wonderful with cheerful service and good suggestions. Crab soup was full of crab and veggies, was among the best I have ever had. Entrees were excellent as was desert. Special thanx to our server who made our dinner memorable
The chef's special is always a delight. The squid ink linguine and braised octopus did not disappoint. Our wait person, Sam, was attentive and personable, her smile infectious. Perfect evening.
This place never falls short on any front food .. amazing , service … so attentive , personal and friendly . I love the atmosphere of this quaint , community oriented , original restaurant.

Great evening all around from Nicole our server to John tending bar. The kitchen presented outstanding appetizers to entree's with authentic Smith Island cake to conclude. We are never disappointed. Highly suggest reservations!
Food was delightful. My wife and my friends had a very nice experience. Our service was fine. Our server was well informed, courteous, and more than pleasant. For me, a good server stands off in the background and watches. If our water glasses get low, they get filled almost without us even noticing. If we seem to need attention, they become available without solicitation. Conversations should never be interrupted with "how is everything". Their observation will answer that question. I'm sounding fairly anal here, but interruptions don't suit me. All in all, terrific meal. My wine, red blend, was to my liking. The newberg was on point. The (?) coffe cake was light and wonderful, and my after dinner coffee had just the right body. I'll certainly recommend Momma Maria's to my friend, and we come again. Thank you for a nice evening
Second visit this Summer. Everything was again outstanding with one exception, out food was slow coming as others who came after where served sooner. Probably a kitchen back-up. Food itself wad outstanding.

Went there for the first time for their Mon-Thurs. Special. $35 per person for a glass of wine, choice of soup or salad, choice of 4 entrees, and choice of dessert. Was excellent. Everything was well executed and delicious. Beautiful setting and great staff. Would definately go back.
