Every visit to Momma Maria's is a wonderful one! The food and wine are superb, and Tuesday thru Thursday ALL THE WINE is half price. Nicole, our server was terrific, and all the other servers are likewise delightful! We will be back in 2 weeks.

No waiting for reserved table. Wait staff was excellent, well informed and courteous. Drinks and food were served promptly but with adequate time to enjoy our drinks before the food courses. The baked oysters were a unique and tasty appetizer. Our entrees were seared veal Marsala and the braised short rib, both were delicious. Both meats were prepared well and presented interestingly, the short ribs on mushroom risotto with crispy onions and horseradish cream, the veal on spaghetti with sautéed spinach. The spaghetti was not served in the usual tomato based sauce, a big plus in my opinion. The chef is new since last we visited, and therefore the menu contains some interesting additions. We plan to continue eating here whenever we are in the area.

Cuisine is delicious. Personally, I enjoy the italian flare. However, the steak was impeccable. A peaceful atmosphere is quiet yet inviting. The chef walks around and checks on your level of satisfaction. (At non rush points) This feels intimate- I love his concern and attention to the plate detail. The bar tender, John offers the perfect balance of attention and appropriately timed conversation!

We recently reserved Momma Maria’s Maple room for our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner and had an absolutely wonderful experience! From the start Dorian and Curt were so accommodating and pleasant to work with and they made things to easy for us to plan this event. There was constant contact throughout the process and all of our requests were met quickly and efficiently. The food was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed, our waitress was friendly and took fantastic care of us and we loved the quiet privacy of the room. Everyone in our party was very happy and highly complementary of our dinner. Thank you again Dorian for helping to make our son’s wedding weekend even better. I would and will highly recommend Momma Maria’s to anyone looking for a catered event !!

Last week, Charles and I celebrated our anniversary with our favorite friends, Ellen and Mike, by stuffing our faces at Momma Maria’s Bistro in Trappe. It’s been ages since we’ve been to Momma’s and, just like every other time, it was ridiculously good!! I wish I had snapped pics of everyone’s meals, but I was too busy drooling over my own. Great night with even greater friends.

This was my first visit to this restaurant, but I will certainly return! I enjoyed my meatball appetizer, my short rib pizza and my coconut caramel bread pudding for dessert! And bonus...my bottle of proseco was half price!

We each had an excellent prime rib. It was cooked exactly how we had ordered it. Rare, Medium, and Medium Rare. This is not easy to do. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The wine and desserts were also outstanding. We also enjoyed the low decibel level and general ambiance. We highly recommend this restaurant. The chef even came out to check on our meals. Love this place!

It was much less busy than in prior experiences so the noise level was very low. Food and service excellent as usual.

Food was way too salty, otherwise bland and tasteless. Everything tasted like it had been made way ahead of time. Overcooked and mushy. Like hospital cafeteria food. Avoid this place. The service was terrible, the servers were busy talking to each other not taking care of tables. The menu listed on their website was not available. It seemed like a switch and bait. They need to correct their website.
