Every visit to Momma Maria's is a wonderful one! The food and wine are superb, and Tuesday thru Thursday ALL THE WINE is half price. Nicole, our server was terrific, and all the other servers are likewise delightful! We will be back in 2 weeks.
No waiting for reserved table. Wait staff was excellent, well informed and courteous. Drinks and food were served promptly but with adequate time to enjoy our drinks before the food courses. The baked oysters were a unique and tasty appetizer. Our entrees were seared veal Marsala and the braised short rib, both were delicious. Both meats were prepared well and presented interestingly, the short ribs on mushroom risotto with crispy onions and horseradish cream, the veal on spaghetti...
Cuisine is delicious. Personally, I enjoy the italian flare. However, the steak was impeccable. A peaceful atmosphere is quiet yet inviting. The chef walks around and checks on your level of satisfaction. (At non rush points) This feels intimate- I love his concern and attention to the plate detail. The bar tender, John offers the perfect balance of attention and appropriately timed conversation!
