I went in for a jerk chicken with rice and peas meal late afternoon. The young man who served went to the back to get the food and took well over 5 minutes. After paying and opening my bag, I was appalled at how little food I got for $20. When you’re accustomed to establishments that give you decent portions, it makes it all the more disappointing. Won’t return to this spot.

Had the lunch special jerk chicken. Small box of food. Still filling. The perk is like a wet BBQ jerk. It was good. They seem to nit have patties available on a regular basis.. idk why
Nice Jamaican food. I love their beef parrie

I'm american and cook better Ox tail. And the cashier needs to smile or at least leave the attitude home
I really enjoyed their jerk chicken. First of all it’s actually made on the grill. Second you smell it the moment you enter the parking lot. I get my grilled with the sauce on the side and it was perfect and authentic. Whoever said it was burnt and thought that pic was proof knows nothing about jerk chicken. Mine was super moist. I liked it and I recommend.

The food is delicious! All I needed was some Red Stripe to go with it!

I’ve been coming here for years and it’s still great every time! They’ve switched a few staff members however it’s still the same great quality food! I’ve always gotten the jerk chicken and rice / peas with extra cabbage! The rice is soft not hard and dry like other places. I get the dark meat chicken w/ the sauce on it and it’s FREAKIN AMAZING! Still my favorite jerk place to eat!

I asked for extra gravy- got no gravy. The said the food was in a warmer that it did out. It looks like they forgot the gravy. Oh no!! Never again, no thank you! I wish I could put a Pic...
I really want to give this place five starz because the flavor is pretty good. I love supporting mom and Pop stores, especially minority own. However, the portions are minimal and the rice and beans taste old. I’ve been here several times but the quality is getting worse. I use to brag about this spot as being one Of the few authentic Jamaican spots, but they no longer stand up to that I’d rather commute all the way to Baltimore and go to Reids shack

First red flag: they didn’t have many options as opposed to what’s listed on the website, I wanted the beef stew then asked for snapper. I was told that they didn’t have either. I ended up just getting the oxtail plate. Secondly, the plate is full of rice. Typically, restaurants will only fill one compartment (the large one) with rice. But the large one and side is filled with rice (which could’ve used additional gravy if they were going to do that) However, the beef patty was really good.
* took the picture after eating some of the oxtails, but still too much rice.
I just don't want to leave when I go there!
They ran out of what I wanted to eat.
Overcharged on the jerk chicken. The menu had another price and during checkout the cashier stated that it's $20 “dinner.” Mind you, I ordered a small. Chicken is salty and burnt.
Not Haut cuisine, but damn tasty, good portion and you can buy tequila mixers!!
