This was the best Jamaican food I have had in the area and would highly recommend. Oxtail, Rice and Peas, and steamed vegetables was so good! The gentleman behind the counter was gracious enough to let me sample the rice and peas before buying. Great customer service! I will definitely be back.

I first spoke to reggie the owner on the phone, who seemed friendly to me and I said he welcomed me to visit his restaurant. I decided to venture out there to check it out today. It was a very long drive of about 30 min from my place. I got there right before they were supposed to open, before 11am. I had to wait another 25 minutes before the 'cashier' woman shows up to collect the payment. the chef Winston was there and he promised it was going to be fine.
well after nearly an hour of waiting, I got the food and paid $25.08 for the meal. it was costly but I figure if the food is good I will be happy. unfortunately the portion was very tiny, with small pieces of oxtails and barely enough for even a lunch portion. where I come from in bronx, Brooklyn NY, you can get at least double the portion for the same price. worst of all, the customer service attitude from the lady was not friendly at all . I asked nicely for a receipt after the transaction, the receipt got printed, and she started to play with her IPAD, I didn't want to reach for the receipt printer myself, so I had to ask again, then she impatiently pulled out the receipt and handed it to me.
the overall experience was not pleasant. Unfortunately based on my negative experience I cannot recommend anyone else to visit here.
in today's economy, a qualified customer has many choices in the neighborhood to spend his/her hard earned money.
this restaurant culture to me, does NOT believe in nor encourage and ensure customer satisfaction, courtesy, and loyalty. I am a business owner myself and I feel that having a happy recurring customer is SUCH A HIGHLY VALUED TREASURE, I would ask all of my staff to do anything to retain these customers (NEW AND OLD). Especially if the customer travelled 30 minutes to reach your business, and HAD to wait nearly another 30 minutes due to the lateness of the employee / cashier on duty!
ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND! GO AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Use to love this place but they have been skimping on food. Just paid $18 for brown stew chicken with barely any chicken just bone and rice! They literally put rice under the chicken to make it look full. I only took a bite out if this. Also got a chicken patty with very little filling.

Really bad customer service. Was charged for the food and was told afterwards that they did not have what I wanted. This is a multiple occurrence, no longer supporting the business.

I had ordered the brown stew chicken with two sides of rice & peas. The portion of food was awesome, but the brown stew chicken as well as the rice & peas were very dry. There was no stew on the chicken or rice. I was a bit disappointed with that.

If I could give them zero stars I would, Literally the worst Jamaican restaurant in the dmv they give you tiny a** portions for all the money you spend with them and then they never have anything I’ve came here one day they didn’t have anymore chicken or rice at a Jamaican restaurant!!!! Nothing but dirty unsanitary people with attitudes in the back touching your food.Today was my last straw with them I came and they had no JERK CHICKEN PLEASE BEWARE…

Chicken was a little dry, and the cabbage was crunchy. Beans and rice and the potatoes were good. The price was high, but the beef patties were delicious.

Very disorganized, I was told no phone orders, also the young lady was very rude, the place is very shady, I wouldn’t ever go back
Literally got 4 pieces of oxtail for $24 and one was a huge piece of fat. Very disappointing. When I called to complain I was told the next time I order make a note so they can give me an extra piece. Next time where?Packing of the food is sloppy as well. Too bad I used an iPhone 15 pro to take those pics as it makes them look good.Tastes is not all that either.
