Boonies Burgers Beer & Bait

My husband and I wanted to go out for dinner and we have been to Boonies several times and have enjoyed, but we decided to dine in and the service was terrible. It seems they were catering to the customers outside and the inside had taken a backseat so to say. Most time no one was around (waitress or anyone) there was another couple inside as well and they seemed annoyed as much as we were. When the food came out finally my husbands dinner was wrong (no one around again to let know) so he just ate it. He did speak to the manager when we got done.
It would be nice if a couple of employees could just stay inside to accommodate the paying customers inside.

My family and I typically enjoy visiting locally owned and operated restaurants to support independent businesses. However, this was NOT an enjoyable experience. The service was SLOW and the crabcake sandwich was honestly the worst I've ever tasted. I asked the waitress for her recommendation and she said she had just started there so she didn't know. Being from Maryland, I ordered the crabcake and was disappointed by what came out...it was a processed patty that didn't even fill the bun. NOT worth the money. I couldnt even eat it. My husband had the hot chicken sandwich special which was average. My daughter said her burger was good and my other daughter said her chicken Caesar salad was okay. The best part of our meal was the cheese bay fries.

Boonies is so good! Everyone is nice and the food is tasty with nice sized portions.

Server was good but don’t get crab soup burgers good rockfish bites good Sent soup back instead of taking off bill the took off 10 percent. 80cents Really, Disappointed will be a while before we return

I’m from Texas but my mother is from Maryland and was extremely disappointed. The service was slow since they were busy and obviously understaffed but that isn’t an excuse for ice cold. But… their crab appetizer and steak (rare) are pretty decent, and their strawberry daiquiri is absolutely delightful! They do have this adorable stray cat who is quite skinny and always appreciates handouts, I just wish they would set out some kitchen scraps for the little mama.

👏👏 Get it together Boonies. We have ordered pick up 5 times since you opened back up and ALL 5 times, something has been messed up. Saturday night...you had five cars in the parking lot. We ordered a burger and a salad. Over an hour later we get our food. Get home and it's 2 salads. No burger. Try calling and goes right to voicemail like always.

Server was super nice and helpful but the food was under cooked and under seasoned. We paid $100 dollars for food we only took one bite out of each.

Great burger, got the boonies burger and it was awesome. The outside seating was very peaceful and relaxing. Never a huge crowd there so if quiet if your thing. This is the place for you!

New favorite “local” restaurant!! I’ve driven by this place countless times going fishing in Nanticoke. This past weekend I finally decided to stop in and check it out and I’m so glad I did!! The food was excellent, very very reasonable portion sizes and so delicious for the price. The atmosphere was great, feels like a local tiki bar in a small beach town in Florida. The staff was friendly, they have cornhole to play, outdoor seating, outdoor bar, even little fire pits to sit around with your party. I live in Salisbury but I’ll absolutely make the 20 min drive to come here every weekend!

Boonies could be a great spot. Hindered by bad service, and employees that don't care.

If you're in the area go to Cedar Hill Deli. Great food and service. Avoid boonies at all cost until they reconsider awful management.

We went there for the first time. We took our little puppies with us! We sat outside on the deck. The food was great! The service was great as well!! The staff loved our little puppies! We will definitely come back again!!

We loved everything we ordered. The crab cheese and coconut shrimp starters are a must try. Our waiter was patient and friendly. Would definitely visit again.

DINNER DATE!! My wife and I took a little drive down Nanticoke rd for a dinner date and it payed off!!!! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles. There’s a nice dining room but we opted the sit bar side since there was a band playing. Our waiter was friendly and knew the menu well. We started with the pretzels and dip which consisted of beer cheese, crab dip,& Buffalo chicken dip!!!! I got the ahi tacos and my wife got the French dip. True masterpiece of flavors that danced on my taste buds!!! Thank you guys for making our date night special

Demi was a delight, and the food was great. Yea, you could just throw some eggs and sausage in a tortilla and call it a breakfast taco…but Boonies amps it up with roasted corn and maple vinaigrette! Amazing. Great outdoor area too!
