Friendly Farms is a pleasant dining experience. It is a fun place to go for a special reason. The excitement for making the beautiful drive has changed over the years. The wait staff are incredible. The front staff are rude. Every time I have been there, I feel rushed to decide my order whether it is busy or not. They need to learn to smile. They are just crotchety. When people are spending this kind of money, first impressions go a long way!

My husband spent almost 1,000.00 at this establishment and the service was horrible. A woman by the name of “Kadence” approached my family and started yelling at us about “her ducks.” My family owns ducks so we know how to interact with these animals. As a matter of fact the ducks followed us to our car, but hey if I had to deal with “Kadence” I would want to get away from there too.

Friendly Farms is a great family style restaurant. The fried chicken is highly recommended. Service is always friendly. Great for large parties. The property is gorgeous and has a lot of great spots to sit and enjoy the pond and ducks.

I brought my family out to celebrate my grandson’s birthday. The waitress was putting Cole slaw, cottage cheese, etc. on the table before introducing herself and asking for drink order. Then, the pork chop was not fully cooked on one of the meals, and two steaks had a lot of blood still coming out when the steak was supposed to be medium well. Meaning a little pink but no blood. My son in law was given bbq sauce when he requested steak sauce. I feel the waitress had too many tables to handle properly, and the cook must of been new or overwhelmed. It was busy, but not to the point where people were waiting in the lobby. I come to Friendly Farms at least twice a month, and this was the worse experience I have ever had.
Big ole food at this place. I hate crab cakes but the folks at the table with me loved the crab cakes. I had the chicken tenders and they were fried to perfection with beautiful Maryland peanut oil

Nasty, cold cashier (Brenda) who actually yelled at us. There was a long line waiting to get in and a second cashier window opened. The new cashier said - I can take the next person in line. We went over and after our order was taken and paid for, both cashiers realized we were part of a large group and our cashier actually chastized us for not telling her. How on earth were we supposed to know their business model and that we had to tell them that? Everyone in the place had a nasty attitude - no smiles to be seen. Chicken had no flavor. The crab stuff shrimp and rolls were tops!!!
