My church hosted an event for our widow's group this past Saturday and it was excellent! Great service and food (loved the fried chicken!). Just overall had a great time.

I've only been to this restaurant 2 times, but both times did not disappoint. The food is perfectly cooked, I got the pork chops which were super good but they are famous for their fried chicken. The waitresses are always very kind and efficient as the place is always packed. And the view is really nice and peaceful.Vegetarian options: It seems that there was one veggie option, which was an eggplant parm. Nothing against the restaurant just wouldn't recommend for veggie options.Parking: There is a parking lot and a secondary overflow lot.
The food is ok, nothing special or bad about it. The service is mediocre as they give you all these appetizers, then all your food on separate plates but never actually come to take away the empty or unused ones. Your main course dominates the plate leaving no room for sides, everything seems inefficient and a waste of table space.
Been going here 50+ years....the food quality has steadily gone down hill and the prices continue to rise....the crab cakes were backfin lump at best...and smaller....they used to be ALL jumbo lump with very little filler....very disappointing ....for almost 60$...soo not worth it.....the filet mignon was dry and tough....oysters were small

I went to Friendly farms for my brothers 75th birthday. It's been twenty years since I was there and it's surprising that it hasn't changed. The food was very good,the only thing was the cost was too pricey ! There was 3 people in our party and it was. $140 !!! That's not counting the tip !! The server was very nice, her name was April and she did check on us a couple of times and very pleasant !!All of the sides were just the way I remembered....but I couldn't pay that price unless it was a special occasion.They used to have a small shop which has been closed since the pandemic.They did sell bakery goods but I think charging $18 for a pie was too high!!We were glad we tried it after all these years !!

My family & I had a wonderful time & the food was very good. I have a picky kids & they were not crazy about the sides. They wanted mash potatoes. lol But who needs that when there are endless fries!!! Personally I absolutely love all of the sides! The pickleed beats, apple butter, & cottage cheese where my personal favorites! The oysters and stuffed shrimp was delicious! We reserved the table with all our family for my mother in-laws 80th birthday ? we ate they brought it out when it was ice cream time ?! Birthday they took it back cut it and handed out pieces. Everything was very nice. I have been coming here since I was very young. We would come more often if they had coupons ? With a family it can be pricey! Overall it was a perfect dinner
