I had a late lunch and ordered the churrasco (skirt steak.) What I got was a riot of delicious flavors. The steak was topped with sautéed onions and parsley with a grilled Serrano. The last is not for the faint of heart. The sides included rice, pico de gallo and a South American version of mixed vegetables with a Peruvian green sauce in the middle. Freshly fried tortillas with cilantro chutney came separately. Did I say that it was all flavorful? The only thing I didn't like was the saltiness of the rice. While rice needs salt, it should never be noticeable especially to the extent of competing for dominance. This is why I had to dock a star. I should mention that my meal was gluten-free.

Walked into this eatery and it wasn't too busy. Possibly because it was a weekday during off peak hours. Was sat quickly and was brought out ice water and some chips and salsa (which were fresh). I ordered a Mixed Fajita which came with steak, chicken and shrimp. This came out with a side of rice and black beans as well as your choice of corn or flour tortillas. Food was great and I felt that it was a great portion size as well. I walked out stuffed and almost passed out in the car for a nap. I would definitely recommend this place whenever you feel like eating some great latin food.

This is my go to hidden gem! Seriously! A mix of fast casual and sit down, you order at the counter sometimes and sometimes they bring you a menu when you're seated. Their birria always hits and I'm still on the hunt for melty birria like Cocineros'. I like going back and forth between the pulpo burrito bowl and pulpo tacos, but my boyfriend never steers away from birria. They play Latin music that could've been taken from my dad's playlist but it's never too loud. I wish I had one of these near my job.

The spinach empanada was one of the best I’ve ever had and the veggie burrito was so veggie packed. The pupusa was also amazing and not at all oily, honestly everything felt really healthy. We will be returning!

One of my favorite places in the Hyattsville area. Tacos are amazing and the new bar is a huge bonus!!! Hidden gem across the road from the mall is well worth the trek across East-West highway for a change from the chain
