Food from here is delicious and it always comes hot, ready to eat. They give you alot of food, enough to share with 2-3 people
Food is made well and tasty. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants that serve bland food, but El Paraiso is not one of them. Try their bistec encebollado or their desayuno typico. I like their enchiladas myself. Also, have a Tamarindo drink...sweet.
Cute cozy little restaurant with authentic cuisine. Enchiladas are absolutely delicious! Great pastries and cookies for dessert: try the fresh flan. Keep these small businesses going please!
Delicious! This small, casual strip-mall restaurant does a brisk take-out business as well as serving about 8 to 12 tables. The food was as good as any Mexican we've ever had. The extensive and varied menu includes the "Tex-Mex" classics Americans expect (burritos, enchiladas, etc.) and also goes well beyond that, including 5 types of soup, 4 flavors of pupusas, 3 varieties of eggs with beans, and several house specialty entrees. Of course you can get a huge, cheese-smothered platter -- but it is also surprisingly easy to eat lightly if you want. And besides listing plenty of vegetarian options on the menu, they are willing to tailor other items to make them meatless. Our waitress knew the menu well, explaining the differences between similar-sounding dishes and describing unfamiliar (to us) ingredients like loroco flower. (She also kindly indulged our gringo daughter in practicing her high school Spanish.) We only regret that we were too full to sample the home-made bakery desserts -- but we will be back!
