Been coming to Paul Kee for many years. We boycotted the “old” Paul Kee for a couple years but the new and improved restaurant is worth writing about.

The food is still really good. Prices are slightly less or comparable to other Chinese restaurants in the area, which we appreciate!

Favorite dishes:
-Crispy beef
-deep fried pork chops
-French beef steak
-seafood pan fried noodles
-any of their noodle soups

The servers we had tonight were more pleasant than the ones we’ve had in the past.

The roasted duck was sold out when we came in at 7:30pm on Saturday. So if you’re set on having that dish, come earlier or call to ask.

Parking in the front is horrendous and the back is a hit or miss.

I hope they will thrive and continue to serve up delicious Chinese food for many more years to come.

Ordered over 10 dishes for a gathering, and everything was above expectations. I have to recommend the ginger scallion lobster ( extra ginger and scallions) and the Cantonese roast duck. My new go to spot.

We had lunch here with our parents. I have to say that their crispy roasted pork is the new king of Montgomery County. Their regular roast pork was very tender and flavorful too. The wontons was so-so. The beef brisket is on par with all the good ones. We also loved the fried rice with salted fish and chicken. We will come back soon for dinner.

Restaurant is very hot with no air conditioning. Service is slow and strange. We are the only ones in the restaurant and our main course was served before our appetizer. Food is okay.

Unimpressed. Taste super generic. I guess good if that's what you are looking for.

I went to this restaurant twice a week. My family very likes it. The roast duck, beef chow fun, spicy salt pepper shrimp, clams with black beans sauce, pork intestines with sour cabbage are the best in town.

Food is very authentic. Better than some places I’ve had in Chinatown, New York. Not too salty and nicely seasoned.

Service is simple- very attentive- and the place is clean. Definitely will come back!

We went on a Sunday afternoon to order their roast meats for take out (charsiu pork, roast duck, and roast pork). It all tasted really fresh and their other items were also good. We would definitely visit again to try their other dishes. Though we didn’t dine in, I did notice that the restaurant itself seemed fairly clean.

We didn’t try their dim sum options, but the prices seemed a bit steep.

Service is always good. I love that they give free refills for their fountain sodas. I love the waitresses for being attentive and checking to see if I need refills of my ginger ale. Food has not been the most consistent, but still pretty tasty in general. For example I've ordered their tomato and beef dish several times. Sometimes there is egg and sometimes there isn't. The only con is their roast and bbq meats. I do not recommend these items. Not only are they sometimes reheated using a microwave making them dry or soggy depending on the meat, but they lack depth of flavor.

Whoever the cook is today 9/18 is not the cook from 2 weeks ago. There was no salt in the food today and I used to have this experience with the older Paul Kee. Not sure which chef it is but onw of them cant cook and I hope they get to the bottom of it cause when its good, its really good and when it bad, its really bad. Smh

Don’t think you can find better authentic chinese food anywhere else. Some of the greatest dishes I’ve tried. The peaking duck (not pictured) and crab are to die for! If I could give this more than 5 stars I would.

My experience at New Paul Kee was amazing. Service was great and quick. Food was wonderful, especially their stir fried vegetables. My toddler is picky with food but she tried all the veggies and actually liked some. Also Lo Mein was EXCELLENT! I tried so many average noddles at many different Chinese restaurants but theirs was the best. I will definitely come back here with friends and family more often!

Welcome back, Paul Kee! The restaurant is renovated and the staff now speak Mandarin(???), but you can once again get the best BBQ pork in the area.
