I walked into the restaurant to solely get a Beef Patty. I acknowledge I walked in at 8:50 pm. However, the sign on the door said open and the door was not locked. I walked to the counter and a lady peaked her head from behind the wall and said “we’re closed” and walked away. No greeting or apologies were given despite the store physically being open. I have previously eaten here and the food is decent. But with such poor customer service, I will not be back. Which is a shame as there are only a handful of black-owned businesses in this area.

They close the grill before posted closing and then you can’t order anything that requires the use of a grill. The woman at the front is extremely rude and lacks basic customer service. They will not get another dime of my money.

I’m sorry I door dashed my order and they got it wrong. Then the food was NASTY curry chicken mushy! Brown stew chicken has no taste! Just horrible $50 down the drain! Then you can’t even call the restaurant!!

Went to the one in Waldorf MD it was sooo good I tried to leave a review on that address but keeps taking me just to this one . Either way same business ! Super fresh food my food was HOT HOT. They do not lie when they say cook to order. Food was good I had to oxtails with rice & peas and cabbage . My bf had to chicken pasta that was VERY spicy he loved it . Only thing I didn’t lien was the limited choices of sides . Only rice and cabbage. No other sides . But it’s okay the food was good. The beef patties were good as well.
Only downfalls was the lady who took our order was standoff ish. And kept yawning LOUDLY 😂 during us putting in our order it hey everyone gets tired. 😂.
Nice little Jamaican spot 💕 will come back when I’m in the area

I went there yesterday and placed a Togo order, I ordered the oxtail w/extra meat and a Curry goat /w extra meat… after receiving my order I did the math and ask the woman at the counter to go over my purchase, the purchase was over $80.. she stated “ that there is a fee to use a credit card . Ok that’s fine . I ask what the fee was and she claimed she did not know.. I then ask her what is the Maryland tax on food , she agin said she did not know , it’s actually 6%.. after going back and fourth with her for several mins I decided to ask for my money back. She said fine and gave me a receipt. The receipt was totally wrong which proves she tried to add extra purchases..I contacted my bank to be on the look out to see if the refund has gone through.. I cannot say anything about their food due to the fact I never got a chance to try it… one thing for sure that woman behind the counter is not very nice and a bit disrespectful… I will not be back

I was just scrolling to find something to eat and came upon this little restaurant on google maps. I am so happy I did! There are plenty of options to include different types of veggie patties. When I say the food was HOT! Not lukewarm like some other place can be. Overall it’s a great place to get some food to eat and customer service was great too. Very kind owners because, if you know the Jamaican restaurant stereotype, you know what I’m talking about. Definitely will recommend and return.
Cashier was rude, this being my first time here. I asked what are the sides she was annoyed. Her voice suddenly got a base and she was stern. I will not purchase food here again.

Check your receipt, you shouldn't be charged a gratuity fee for take out. I wonder how many people walked out without looking at their receipt alot of extra money at the end of the day, plus the food wasn't worth the price. I won't be going back

Really delicious food. I had the jerk chicken (dark meat) with rice & peas (peas = beans) and cabbage. Wonderful flavor and good kick (similar to the Korean gochujang heat that lingers on the roof of your mouse and lips). Rice and cabbage were delicious as well. Try the Jamaican Kola Champagne (bottled) if you like vanilla root beer. Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) was on TV which I loved.

The jerk chicken is so bomb! I love that it’s grilled instead of baked. So flavorful and juicy! The restaurant has had some improvements in the layout and has a nice amount of seating. There are some new employees and the mature aged woman seems less overwhelmed and frustrated. I like the direction the restaurant is headed and will definitely be back.
