Edit: I did try this place without reading the reviews. I'm glad I did. Yes there was a wait. I was informed it would be 30-35 minutes for my two dinners and some sides. Okay, I'm trying the spot - why not. It was made fresh! Don't get me wrong, yeah I might have to call ahead next time, but to know my food was made right then and there is everything. Yes it was a little on high side for price, but like everything else - it's high.
I recommend calling ahead. Phi was amazing to deal with.

I’ve tried this place twice now. The first time, I found the food to be quite mid. Nothing particularly special. I had the jerk chicken, rice and peas, and cabbage. I went there pretty early in the day so I think I got their lunch special. The portion size was much smaller than what I had today.
This time, I decided to give them another shot and went around 4:30pm. I ordered their jerk chicken dinner special that came with rice and peas and cabbage. The jerk chicken was made to order and it took about 20 minutes. The jerk chicken was sooooooooo good!!!!! It was much spicier than the first time I had it but that’s a plus for me! It had a sweet taste to it as well but then packed lots of spicy flavors too. The order came with about 4-5 small pieces of dark meat. I thought that was a good amount for the price. The only thing I wish was different was the rice and peas was on the drier side. I also remember the rice and peas being dry the first time I had it too. Other than that, the food was great! I would definitely eat here again. I also tried the beef patty and it was pretty good too!

My macaroni &cheese was burnt and hard, the cabbage is floating in gravy!! The ox tail aren't too bad but could have been a little more tender!! The little girl that's taking orders is rude!! The place was so smokey I had to step outside!! I'm so disappointed!! I won't be returning!!

This place has the best Jamaican food in the area. I have been to several places and the flavors are all watered down and some have the nerve to give small portions as well. This place does neither my husband loves ❤️ the oxtail I think it's delicious too I'm just not a beef eater. The curry chicken is delicious! The coco bread is tasty and so are the patties! You must go and get some if you want an authentic Jamaican meal.

I've tried this place a few times and always felt the food was pretty good so this review is overdue. However, after ordering yesterday I felt motivated to write this. Based on the taste of the food. The jerk chicken and curry chicken dinner meals were incredible. They both had great portion sizes and were full of flavor. Based on the seasonings and end result you could tell they put effort into each of these dishes. The rice and peas weren't dry (maybe some of the best I've had) and the cabbage tasted great. The jerk chicken is spicy, which I didn't mind but eater be-warned. Also, props for fulfilling the online order within the early part of the estimated completion window. It seems they are undergoing a dinning room renovation in the front as they were moving the seats around. I'll have to return to see the end result along with the awesome food... keep up the great work.
