Went with my son on a Monday morning a couple of weeks ago. Server had an attitude because I politely asked her to clean our table. She served the food and never came back to ask us if we needed anything else or how are food was. I used to patronize this particular Waffle House almost everyday several years ago. Boy, how times have changed! Used to be customer service was a top priority but not anymore! I know servers work hard and are sometimes under appreciated. I always leave a twenty percent tip when the service is excellent. I am not cheap but in this particular case I had no choice but to leave just a fifteen percent tip. I also understand servers have nothing to do with food preparation. Folks, the bottom line is this: “ Rotten service equals rotten tip”!
