“I wanted something more than McDonald's or Chik Fila A so I googled this spot on my way to work. I had to be at work by 7. They open at 630am. That is awesome. I was greeted as soon as I entered ( I can't imagine that happening when it's crowded, but it was only about 3 others there at the time). You can eat in as there is a lot if seating.I received my order very quickly. It was just a breakfast sandwich, but It was made as I requested and I had no complaints. In fact, I went two days later and got another breakfast sandwich and homefries. They do have daily specials as well. Give them a try. I will be going back.“

“I just ate what was probably well over my 100th pit beef sandwich from Jake’s Grill in my lifetime. I am blown away by how tender the beef is each and every time.

Don’t bet on the Ravens, don’t bet on the weather, but you can bet every single time that your sandwich from Jake’s will not pull apart and fall apart because the pit beef is tough. This is the food of life.

“It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t amazing either. So I got the Italian hot cut. It was good but it wasn’t horrible either. It was bland a bit. There was no spice or anything like normal hot Italian cuts. Since this is my first order I would definitely try again.“

“This carryout and grocery was like being back in a small grocery in Makati. We got a platter with a few different dishes and garlic rice - great taste and a very reasonable price. The grocery prices were what you would expect for any specialized grocery. Staff was very friendly. I only give the 4 stats on atmosphere because we showed up early after my wife's green card interview in the morning and they were still stocking shelves. Still, I would highly recommend!“
