This place is garbage. The food doesn't taste like the other restaurant's. Soggy fries, non crispy chicken with chicken hair fried into the skin. Gross! Don't waste your time nor your money. Try a different location.

Hip Hop Fish & Chicken is a hit or miss with me-this location was a HIT!
The food was fast, hot and fresh! The mac&cheese fried was delicious! The sweet potatoes-great!
I had the chicken thighs and waffle... and it was only $8! Four chicken thighs and a waffle-cooked to order for that price is unheard of!!
My mom got the fried fish and she had so much, she had sandwiches for two days! She is a picky eater, and since she enjoyed her food and wants to come back, that's a huge plus for me!
Before leaving Maryland, we had to go back so my brother could get some chicken to go!
When are you all expanding to Northern VA? Let me know when you do!

I order today 6/13/25 3pc trout.+Fries. The order looked good when I open the box.The fish looked crispy. Gave a good rating thinking I would enjoy my meal.Well I didn’t it was fried hard very little meat and mostly crunching on skin. I call hip hop and the guy told me to call on line and hung up on me.The delivery guy was nicer then whoever it was that hung up on me. I will not be giving Hip Hop a order again.$27.06

Even tho the order wasn't correct. They left my BBQ sauce off my chicken.

I'm not sure if they're under new management or what, but the food was disgusting. I ordered the catfish and nugget combo. The catfish nuggets were undercooked. The vegetable oil they used to fry their food needed to be changed. It also tastes as if they used iodized salt instead of the other flavor salt. My stomach is jumpy. DISGUSTING! DISGUSTING! DISGUSTING!

I generally like HHCF. I didn't like the food OR service at this location.

I ordered through DoorDash as a pick up order and when I arrived to the store they claimed someone else already came to pick up the order but that’s impossible because if it’s a pickup then I would be the only one who had the order information. Which means they didn’t even verify with the person picking up. They were rude and unprofessional and you should spend your money elsewhere.

I don't like the season they sprinkled on top or know what it is, looking like cremated powder plus the chicken gizzard and liver is always over cooked and burned dried out

Food was just OK.
Fish and shrimp were fine. Fried mushrooms were burned. Fries were a little salty.
I was annoyed because I asked for a bean pie and the guy asked if I wanted a small one (there's only one size). I said I don't see a small one, but I pointed to what I wanted. He said ok, small one, rung up my order and i paid. The problem is, he gave me a tiny sweet potato pie. I told him I asked for bean. He said you asked for small. So we went back and forth about that for a few seconds before he tells me I have to pay extra for the bean pie. That was so unnecessary and annoying.

Very good. I ordered 300 pieces of chicken and fries to feed the homeless in Downtown Baltimore. They through in two loaves of bread. We were grateful. But the food was ready in like 12 minutes, no exaggerating. Thanks guys
