I came all the way over here for breakfast and they had nobody here to serve me. I wasted my gas and time. I looked up the time they open and they should’ve been open and they were not.

I literally just called maybe a hour ago to see what time they close they told me 8pm and I called to make sure they was open because last time I came they was closed I thought maybe they switched there hours and the ones posted may have been old I use to come here all the time for snowballs but mainly the funnel cakes they are amazing but now I’m here drove 35 minutes to come and it was 7:40 when I got here and they were already closed when they pacifically
Told me when I called that they was open until 8 I am extremely disappointed & dissatisfied this is my secound time coming here an they was not open gas is not cheap you said you close at 8 when I got here there was no sign of anyone so that mean yall had to close atleast 7:15 cause it was no sign of anyone here when I got here I need to find me a new good funnel cake spot I love yall funnel cakes but I hate waisting my time and gas oh and bad service and this is completely giving all thee above yall have to do better I set & read some of these reviews and you guys are gonna lose out on a lot of buisness if you don’t tighten up maybe that’s why yall open and close when u want because yall are running a lot of the customers away we love good food but good service also comes hand & hand

If I could give this place no stars I would they need to be shut down and never own anything else , they food be cold they take an hour and some minutes to deliver , they don’t be having nothing on the menu, they rude

This will be my last time ordering from this place! Waited an hour for my order, fries cold no salt pepper ketchup like I asked and my cheese steak was soggy!

The food is good.. although portions vary -guess depending on the cook… something kool opens whenever they want - it’s been times I’ve called and they actually answered saying they just got there and not open yet!! It’s so frustrating and hard to support….

The best snow balls in America. By the way, their Kool Dog’s is theee best.

The all day breakfast here always smack you heard me funnel cake & shaved ice good also 6/21/24

I’ll give this place a two because the Snowball has potential to be great they have the best shaved ice other than original Hawaiian and one sweet moment however they overloaded it and was super watery or syrupy For both with very little marshmallow. The funnel cake is not that great and the customer service is horrible I first talk to the owner who apologized and seem to be a very decent person stated he had been in business for 19 years however when the window was slammed on my hand he made an excuse for why I was slammed on my hand and never once apologized then the young guy shoved the snowball at me which is spelt everywhere and customers turned around because they saw how rude he was so they lost three customers which is potential for way more business just because of how the other saw him react and I’m very upset and very disappointed.However I’ve been trying to support black businesses and the only reason why I didn’t ask for a full refund is because it’s burning up hot and I’m pregnant and I have to be dropped off so that my fiancé can go to work so I said I’m here let me just get it whatever it’s ice looks clean and I’m supporting black businesses even if it is rude black business and they don’t appreciate my money of value me as a customer I still need this ice it’s 100° and I’m pregnant that’s the only reason why I kept my order and didn’t get a refund

I used to frequent this place, and from what I remember the food was good but I love their shaved ice. I purchased 6 snowballs from here today. Two of which were Banana and Vanilla. I’ve never had nor ordered a banana or vanilla snowball, these were for my family. When they were given to me, I was confused about which one was vanilla and which was banana. The vanilla was brown. The yellow was banana. I didn’t expect the vanilla to be brown and was put off by it, hoping my order wasn’t mixed up with someone else’s. I simply asked for clarification about which was which and I was met with so much attitude. The young woman first said she just made so many that she didn’t recall, which compelled me more to get clarity about which was which. She seemed to have developed an attitude because I was confused about which was which. As she explained which was which, her face was broken down and her tone was rude. It was so professional. The energy was so discomforting that I wanted a refund. I decided to just take the order to my children, who really wanted snowballs, and simply never return to this establishment. It is not a good feeling to spend your money anywhere and be made to feel like you’re not welcomed, you’re being a nuisance or you’ll be met with some unnecessary altercation simply for having a moment of confusion. I patron black owned businesses with a strong emphasis on support our own, but I don’t support unprofessionalism and ignorance. Absolutely disgusted.

I drive past them at least twice and I've been only two times. First time I got wings, second time i just got a funnel cake. Rhe food was good but the customer service wasn't great so I decided to stop going.

Specifically asked for 2- 20oz snowballs and 1-12oz cup ice cream. Received 2 smalls cups for snowballs and small cup for ice cream for over $14 dollars. When I said this is not what I asked for.... I was told that the cashier rung me up for sizes that I did not ask for. I won't be returning. Poorly operated business with trashy parking lot and my husband was shocked that I even went to this snowball stand to begin with. The next time, I will drive out to Ellicott city, Sumthin Kool will no longer receive any of my money.
