In my opinion, The Grill at the Wharf is the best restaurant in DC. The food is excellent but what really separates this restaurant from all the rest is the outstanding customer service. The staff always go above and beyond to ensure the best dining experience. And to cap it off, they have the best cocktail in the DMV - Grill Punch!

Bbq sauce was $3.25 lol, burger was good. Fries were nothing to write about. No A1 sauce so skipped out on getting a steak. Waitress was fantastic tho. Prolly will be back with some friends to try other things!!

We came to The Grill at the Wharf in DC for Brunch to celebrate Valentine's Day. The restaurant is so beautiful. The Greeter:Caesar seated us outside and it was warm and cozy. He was so friendly and courteous. The Server:Stephanie was very friendly and courteous as well. She gave us options on drinks and food. The food and drinks were so delicious and dessert. The restaurant did not disappoint. We will definitely be back and recommend this restaurant to family and friends.

Jacqueline the manager was awesome. The front desk messed up our reservation and she fixed it. She made sure we satisfied and brought a free devil eggs with crag. That's was good.

We dined here prior to a show at the Anthem and it was perfect! Happened to be restaurant week so that was a happy accident and we got a great 3 course meal for $65. Wine list is very nice and our serve was very attentive.
My husband and I visited yesterday and did not have a good experience because the chef did not make the food as ordered. My husband ordered a ribeye medium and the first time it came out medium rare. The waiter and the manager offered to send the steak (that we had breathed and touched, and hovered over) back to the kitchen to cook more. This means it is a practice to put tampered food on the same grill with fresh food of other customers which is cross contamination. I requested a fresh steak for my husband. The manager brought it out to us, did not check the temperature, and did not wait until we cut into it to ensure the temperature was correct. When I asked him did he verify the termperature prior to bringing it out to us. He stated, "No, I trusted my chef." The General Manager, Jacklyn happened to be in the restaurant so I requested her to share our experience. She used her active listening to our concerns. She was nice friendly and accommodating. She offered a 3rd cook which we refused. I made a reservation at another restaurant, which we had a good experience. Also, I ordered the Branzino and it was Amaaaaaaaaaazing but I had to split it down the middle with my husband while waiting on his staeak which never were fixed. I did not have a full meal as a result of the experience. We will not be returning but if you do go, do not order the steak because they struggle with steak temperatures.

This restaurant is conveniently located. It has a great ambience. The food is delicious. This is the only restaurant that I come to when I visit Washington management and staff are great.
