Service & Atmosphere is okay, but most important is the food. I ordered a Jerk chicken dinner. Chicken didn't seem to be marinated or even season well. It just had hot jerk sauce pored over it. Not flavorful just hot. Rice and peas were dried out. Cabbage mix was wet soggy and blend. Yep. I'm looking for a new spot.

I come to this restaurant a lot cause I love the flavor. But they are so skimpy on food. I paid $31 for the oxtail dinner and a tea with extra gravy. I get home and it’s 4 pieces of oxtails.. one big piece with the biggest bone I ever seen with NO meat on it and 3 little pieces with no meat. I went around 730ish so idk if they gave me the bottom of the pot or what. But it’s insane how I got a bunch of gravy and no meat. When customers spend their hard earned money at your establishment we expect the Quality and the Quantity… I gotta find a new place cause this isn’t the first time but I was pissed off tonight!

Our first time at this establishment. While waiting for our food my daughter purchased a bottle drink. After taking a sip she noticed the expiration date was November 30, 2025. The young lady that waited on us had stepped in the back so I took a look at the other drinks so that we could get another one. ALL the drinks were expired. When the young lady came back out I told her about the drink. She proceeded to look through ALL the drinks passing over ALL the ones that were expired. She comes to the table and gives my daughter another drink; this drink had a white sticker that was covering the date. I already knew what that meant. Peeling off the white sticker that had 12-30-25 the real expiration date under that was 12-30-2024. I waited until my food was ready and kindly went back to speak with the young lady. I said this drink is a year old and that’s a shame. Supporting our own people and they do us any kind of way as well. She proceeded to tell me to get another drink and walks off to the back again leaving the customer that she was now waiting on. She was polite and soft spoken the whole time. I’m not speaking in a rude tone at all that’s not me. Right is right and I treat people the way that is right and pleasing to God. My daughter said Ma I haven’t got there yet as far as knowing how to gracefully speak and handle things that’s not right. I didn’t curse, get loud or anything as someone else surely would have done. I left the drink on the counter and left. I didn’t bother to speak to the guy because I know she told him the first time about the first drink because he came out and they were talking and looking in my direction. I’m sure he knew about the drinks. She didn’t even bother to take out the expired drinks. Let’s do better people. My First and Last time in this place.

The goat curry and oxtail Mac and cheese are both amazing! Great flavor for both. Curry has a good spice to it. And the meats for both fall right off the bone! Will be back for sure :) only thing is Mac and cheese itself was a bit oily
Also want to thank the worker working the cash register who let me try a small sample of the goat curry!
