Kinda sucks to write a less than great review. The food was fine. It’s nothing different than what you’ll find at every other mediocre Mexican joint. The real problem was the absurd amount of time we waited to get our food. It got to the point that I was trying to flag our server down to just pay for the drinks and leave when the food finally came out. Maybe it was an off night and they’re actually better than that; I doubt I’ll be finding out. Pass this one up and look for something else.
The audacity to charge me for chile rellenos and then not bread or fry the poblanos. This restaurant is just a joke to them apparently.
Had a nice lunch here. Took advantage of the lunch specials which were delicious. From the tacos to the enchiladas to the beans it was all excellent.
It is a smaller than typical portion - but just right for lunch. Friendly server as well.
I have a bone to pick with this resturant. I got the LARGE queso togo (8 dollars). I was shocked to see that an 8 dollar large queso is two little sauce dishes that resturants typically use to give ketchup. Needless to say I will not be back and I am writing this review so others are not robbed blind. There are other Mexican resturants in the area, go somewhere else. By the way two people at the bar on a Saturday night at 530 is not a sign of a healthy business. Maybe you should change your ways.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food! We got the shrimp tacos, prima carne asada, sangria and the big kona wave, and everything was great. This may be one of the best mexican restaurants in the dmv!

Terrible place, it was dirty and the food was horrible, on top of that we had to wait more than half an hour for the food, I would never return to this place in my life, terrible in every way

We've only been a couple of times but need to come more often!! Such friendly people and the food! Oh my goodness! So fresh and so many options. For many dishes you can choose from about 8 kinds of proteins, multiple sauces, and various types of beans and rice. You truly get just what you want. There are delicious seafood options, too. Prices are very reasonable and the service is outstanding.

This is our local go-to taco spot! Greg and Andrea are wonderful. We always feel welcome and well fed when we stop in. Our little ones ONLY eat Los Compadres tacos, it’s a weeknight staple for our family and our most frequent meal request! Tacos and Queso - doesn’t get much better!

I only get takeout here, they have the best tacos anywhere in the Ellicott City to Randallstown stretch.

went specifically for elote, which Google told me they have....(they don't) stayed anyway. service was ok, dinner was ok, but the star of the show and saving grace was an outstanding fried ice-cream. that thing was damn good and a must try if u stop in.
