I had not been to Alfred in many years, and was happy to see the country store of my childhood was still up and running. Well stocked with a little bit of everything, and delicious sandwiches ( I had the Greek chicken wrap) plus friendly down home service will make this a must stop if you're in the area.

Hands down BEST Italian! Ordered an Italian sub and a pulled pork sandwich. I placed the order online for delivery, with that I was not able to add the usual added extra. Despite that, the Italian was perfectly made. Easily the best Italian I've ever gotten without adding. The pulled sandwich was reported to be just as good. First time we have gotten anything from this place. Won't be the last time. Thank you for awesome food. Delivery also showed up before scheduled 😊😋.

Absolutely LOVE Alfred County Store! Some of the best pizza and subs around at a very fair price. They also make right any mistakes that inevitably happen when running a business. Last week I had ordered a loaded large steak tip sub (one of the best items on their menu BTW! ??) and they accidentally mad me a steak bomb. I messaged their Facebook page and the owner not only very promptly returned my message, but also gave me a gift card for not only the cost of a loaded steak TIP sub, but a fry as well for the inconvenience! Now THATS customer service! Can't recommend them enough

A well appointed corner store with a welcoming staff and modern offerings. The variety on their menu is very impressive given the small space they operate from. And the number of daily specials was very nice. Quick service for our lunch on the run, but it left a great impression. A little tight in their isles with lots of little twists and turns. Very easy to find with on the street parking.
